".The crew did an excellent job on my small lawn but were unable to get the heavy equipment into the back yard because of steps and recent rain. However, they performed the aeration and seeding on my neighbor's lawn.
Unfortunately, none of grass seed sprouted."

"Isaac came out to give me an estimate to remove some trees outside of the privacy fence in the back of my house.  Isaac just happened to arrive while a plumber was telling me that he did not want to dig up the Jane magnolia to get to a water leak unless my landscaper was there.  Isaac and Jonathan jumped right in .  They provided expert advise that helped me to make an informed decision and we told the plumber to dig up the magnolia.  Then Isaac and Jonathan, AT NO CHARGE TO ME, jumped in with incredible teamwork to do what had to be done to ensure the magnolia would survive the removal and replanting the next week.  They took a large plastic tub and got the magnolia in there (a good size magnolia) and put in some mud and got a towel from the plumber and wrapped the top of the root mass so the roots would not dry out.  They placed the tub in the shade so minimize shock to the tree.  Then Isaac and Jonathan proceeded to tell me how to take care of it until we could get it planted again.  They saw I had some mulch and told me to put that in the tub around the roots to retain moisture.
WOW !!  It's a joyous occasion to have a service provider jump right in like that and be so willing to help and share their expertise and all in the name of good will.
Outstanding.....THANKS you guys - above and beyond !

"Excellent!  A guy came with a commercial pressure washer, followed by a rotating scrub brush. A few days later after the concrete had dried, two guys came to seal the concrete. First they blew off any debris, and then sealed using a roller and paint brush. They were very careful and detailed in everything that they did. I was very impressed with their workmanship."

FAQs for lawn care aeration projects in Fisherville, KY

Aeration is the best way to keep your lawn healthy and vibrant. Annual aeration makes your lawn more breathable and helps nutrients reach the roots, improving water absorption and reducing puddles where pests might breed. However, timing matters. It's best to avoid aerating during droughts, extreme heat, or if your lawn is battling weeds. A local pro can help you determine the ideal time for your yard.

Most lawns benefit from annual aeration to keep them healthy and thriving. If your lawn has a lot of thatch buildup—more than half an inch—you might need to aerate twice a year for a couple of years to get it under control. But if your soil isn't compacted and there's minimal thatch, you might be able to skip a year.

When you hire a professional lawn care company, a standard 10,000-square-foot lawn takes about 30 minutes to aerate. Uneven, sloped, or especially large lawns can take significantly more time. So, depending on your lawn's size and condition, the process can take anywhere from half an hour to several hours.

The best time to aerate your lawn is during the spring or fall when your grass is actively growing and the soil has enough moisture. Aerating once in the spring and once in the fall yields the best results. Avoid aerating when your lawn is dormant or right after heavy rain when the soil is too wet—that can make aeration less effective.

Even if your lawn looks healthy, aeration can still be beneficial. If you have good growth, proper drainage, and little thatch, you might not need to aerate right away. Regular aeration helps water and nutrients reach the roots, keeping your lawn strong over time. Keep an eye on your lawn's condition to decide when it might need aeration.
