"Absolutely Outstanding Work by Kinsley! We recently had our front walkway and patio completely redone by Kinsley, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, he was professional, courteous, and clearly takes great pride in his craft. Kinsley helped us choose the perfect brick design to complement our home, and his attention to detail was incredible! He made sure we understood every step of the process. The end result has completely transformed the look of our home. We’ve already received so many compliments from neighbors and friends! If you’re looking for someone reliable, skilled, and dedicated to quality workmanship, I can’t recommend Kinsley highly enough. His work is both beautiful and built to last. We’ll definitely be calling him again for future projects!"

"I made an appointment with Mr. Bennett for an estimate. He was on time and provided me with a reasonable cost for the work to be done. Mr Bennett recommended loropetalum from the shrubs. The work was scheduled on a Saturday and was completed within 2-3 hours. Mr. Bennett's crew did a fantastic job. The landscaping was beautifully done. I am very pleased with the work done by BTOPS and by their professionalism. One of the most professional contractors I have ever dealt with. BTOPS comes highly recommended."

"<br /> Matt was very personable and knowledgeable about the different aspects of laying tile. This was impressive and I hired him on even though the price was a little more than I anticipated. At first, everything was going fine until the start time agreed to was rarely met by Matt. One day I waited and waited but he never showed up all day, with not even a call. Later, I found out that Matt was doing multiple jobs at once and mine seemed to be fit in where it could be. After 3 weeks I didn't have one room finished and Matt's 2-4 hour work times per day at my place surely was to blame. Matt also said he could put in hardwood floors, so I hired him to do that at the first only to find out later he had made a deal with 2 other men to do the installation. I had never met them and Matt never told me about hiring it out, but after speaking to these men I felt confident to proceed and they did a wonderful job. I eventually let Matt go before the job was finished because of a lack punctuality, lack of committment to my job, and sub-par work in general."

"It went well. The only problem is that we asked for a path from the parking pad to the back porch. The workers declined to do it. It was a verbal agreement with the owner but was not put in the contract. After the workers declined to make the path the owner and I had agreed upon, I called the owner. Fortunately, the owner remembered the conversation and told the workers to do it. The workers did a fine job, and we are happy with the job. The price was expensive, but it looks nice, and we would hire PennyEarned again."

"They did a FANTASTIC JOB!!! Very professional, the quality of the work is second to none. They took their time and were meticulous every step of the way. They cleaned up the area spotless when they were done. Rusty called us after 2 days and made sure we were 100% satisfied and set an appointment to come back, so HE could look the job over and address any concerns we have, or if any part of the job was not to their standards, they would replace it at no charge to us.Their big concern was that we were 100% satisfied. I would recommend CURB IT to everyone, they are a 1st class company."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Fitzpatrick, AL

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
