"I called Steve and got a price quote for hauling away my yard debris. He asked about quantity, and I said it would fill up us trailer. Steve provided the price for a full trailer load, and I verbally agreed and we set the time that he would arrive. Steve was prompt on his arrival, and upon visual inspection of my yard debris, asked for an additional 8.3% premium over the previously agreed to price. I agreed to the price increase, and Steve promptly went to work. All of the yard debris fit into his trailer (as I had estimated it would), and Steve cleaned up the area leaving little trace that there was ever a stack of debris there to begin with. I was pleased with the quality and professionalism of Steve’s work, and I would use him again for my hauling needs. The only knock he earned – was changing the verbally agreed to price after visual inspection. A full trailer of yard debris is a full trailer of yard debris. There was no misrepresentation on my part. But, I had the option of declining the increase, and I decided that getting rid of it then and there was more important than the money. So, I contracted for the service."
