"I highly recommend JDS Improvements - for roofing or any other work. (I will be hiring him to do other work around my house later this year.) He removed the old roof and two skylights and replaced them. He coordinated with the HVAC company to remove and replace the roof air conditioner so I was without air conditioning for only a few hours, which, in Arizona is so needed in July! He repaired the inside walls/ceiling that had to be trimmed to accommodate the new skylights. Extremely professional, IMPECCABLE INTEGRITY, responsive, listened and answered all of my many many questions, and accommodated my special needs. His crews are very respectful and after the work was done they cleaned up all areas - inside and outside. When they had to work inside, they put paper on the floors to walk on, paper on the counters, and then put plastic around the skylight opening when they repaired that area. They cared for and respected my house as if it was theirs and left it clean with no trace they were even there. Nothing was too small - the attention to the details was welcoming. Having lived in Sedona for 10 years I have finally found a contractor who does what he says he is going to do, shows up when he says he is going to show up, and not only walks you through the process but also talks to you about possible complications/issues and offers multiple solutions. QUALITY WORK AT GOOD RATES. I know I will never hire any other contractor for any home project I have in the future!! "<p>We recommend this contractor.</p> <p><strong>Background.</strong>  This was our first project since the construction of the house in 10 years.  We researched the options of wood and metal buildings.  The cost of each was about the same.  However, the metal building was a quicker and durable option. </p> <p><strong>Contractor Choice.</strong>  We chose the contractor due to the price, the interview with the owner, their website, and a testimonial; we visited a previous job site where they did a similar project.  In general, the owner was more responsive and professional than the other contractors.  The other companies seem less professional and some were just odd.  The local contractor business in our area is competitive but not cheap.  </p> <p><strong>Foundation. </strong> Overall, the survey, land clearing, and laying the A/B aggregate went well.  We chose to hire an additional contractor to clear more land to expedite their work and for other projects.  Foundation framing and cement work went according plan.  During this phase, we were very much involved with their work since we need to integrate our other requirements into the foundation.  We needed to run water and power conduits into the foundation before the pouring of the concrete.  In addition, we prepared a portion of the foundation to support an in ground carlift.  All these actions required us to coordinate closely with the construction team.  Though our special modifications may have been a deviation from their standard work, they were more than willing to work with us to accommodate each special request and let us do the portions of the work we intended to do ourselves.  In addition, we were welcome to ask questions and review the work daily to ensure that there were no misunderstandings or incorrect expectations.   We enjoyed working with both the owner Caleb and his site lead, Calvin.</p> <p><strong>Erection.  </strong>We elected to wait 30 days to begin the erection after the pouring of foundation.  The erection went without any major incident. Caleb's crew performed all of the work for this portion, and did so at remarkable speed.</p> <p><strong>Follow-up.  </strong>We required a follow up visit to fix one of the overhead roll up garage doors that came off its track.  The contractor responded within a reasonable time and completed the work without issue.<br /> Overall, we were very satisfied with the entire experience, from bid through construction to completion. "I had worked with Arizona Foundation Solutions before. They had installed a moisture removal system as a heaving remediation solution. During my renovations, I noticed a crack in the foundation that was a little more than 1/16 of an inch wide. I felt comfortable fixing it myself. However, I wanted it done professionally and have it backed by a transferable warranty. Therefore, I decided to go the with Arizona Foundation Solutions. The person handling the actual repair was Tom Linear. I was very impressed by his commitment to doing the job right even before the start of the job. The original bid was different from the work that was actually needed since I had just completed removing tile to reveal the extent of the damage. I shared this change with Tom. He assured me that all would be handled. He also warned me about the limitations of the repair. Part of the crack was in close proximity to the wall. Due to this and the need for even more, possibly unnecessary work, this part of the crack would not be stitched. However, the work would still fall under the warranty. I was blown away by his skill, knowledge, patience, and willingness to not only listen to my concerns and answer questions but actually teach me me the techniques so I would feel comfortable doing it myself in the future if needed. Tom is an excellent teacher. As mentioned previously, the scope of the project was changed. He performed extra work that was not in the original contract and would not fall under the warranty, and was done without expectation of extra charge. I cannot say enough positive things about Tom. He is passionate about his work and is willing and able to share it with others. As a result of his visit, I not only have confidence in the repair that was done, but I also have confidence in myself to be able to apply similar fixes in future. Tom, thank you so much!"

"When our pool was built the construction company disturbed the drainage system around our patio and one side of the house.  After running three sump pumps around my home for 13 years during rain storms, it is so nice to know that now when it rains all the water will go where it is supposed to go.  When I ran across this information on Tom I did some research and decide to give him a call.  They did extensive digging and trenching to get the system installed.  When the job was done, you would never know that anyone had done any work in our yard.  The only visible signs are the drain covers that now move the water.  Tom and his crew took excellent care of us and have totally solved our water problems.  We made it through a very rainy AZ summer and not a bit of standing water.  I sure wish I had done this years ago.  I actually look forward to rain now! <br />"

From there I met with Scott the owner of the company and we discussed all the things I wanted from the building size and add-ons; no other builder came close to getting what I wanted. I then moved on to Chris the superintendent he also worked with me to make sure that all the things that were discussed were going to be completed.
