"I had 2 jobs done on 7/16/20. Miguel came in the morning, and Logan came in the afternoon. Both these workers deserve raises because of their knowledge, skill, and commitment to performing excellent work! They both are good at communicating, polite, pleasant, and just really nice men who make me comfortable to have them in my home! Miguel does extraordinary work, plus he is good at explaining what he's going to do. He installed a damper in my dryer vent, and figured out what was wrong with my kitchen/dining room exhaust fan which is in a shallow vaulted ceiling. Miguel went above and beyond to install a soffit hole when we weren't sure where the vent exited. Once the hole was cut he used sheet metal to make a trough to join the gap from the 6" metal duct directly to the soffit exit hole. This made it so the exhaust air didn't get lost blowing up and down inside the soffit. Then Miguel correctly installed a metal screen next to the 6" x 10" hole before he screwed on a return air vent for a cover. The hornets will not be able to get through this vent cover to nest in my attic. Now, this soffit vent works for my powerful fan to exhaust my cooking odors! Before, there was very little draw with the fan because it could not vent. Logan came this afternoon and stayed very late to evaluate and complete the sprinkler repairs so my 19 year old sprinkler system works the way it should. Logan was great at explaining how and why the sprinklers needed to be repaired. He explained what he was going to do to make things better. Then he showed me how to adjust the seasonal watering switch. He even wrote for me a table of temperatures with their appropriate percentage number for me to change by pushing + or - buttons to increase or decrease the percentage of water flow from April thru September. I felt confident the job was expertly and thoroughly completed! Plus, he told me about the 2 year warranty Advanced Home Services gives me on the parts and labor for sprinkler system repairs. I can count on Advanced Home Services to do high quality work!"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Fort Hall, ID

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
