"<p>Very happy with Reaves Cement:</p> <p>- I called many concrete contractors in the area, and Jeff Reaves was one of only two who either answered the phone or returned messages; Jeff was on time for all appointments</p> <p>- His estimate was a little over half of the two other estimates I got...very low labor charge</p> <p>- I was very concerned about the grading job of a patio in an unusual place (only has a small area for water to flow out from); it hasn't rained yet, but the grade looks perfect (had to be graded in 2 planes). They also ensured a relatively uniform 4and quot; slab thickness through the center of this unusual slope.</p> <p>- Placement of expansion joints and saw cuts all made engineering sense</p> <p>- Jeff and his two co-workers were friendly and customer-oriented; they cleaned up the site well and took care to not get concrete on the adjoining stucco</p> <p>- Jeff cut all the roots out from under a walkway repair (the roots had raised that part of the walkway)</p> <p>- There are a couple of small low spots (1and quot; x 4 and quot; x 3/8and quot;) where one slab meets a brick wall, but overall, they did great work for an incredibly low price...I'd definitely use them again</p> <p>- My next door neighbor got an estimate for a driveway replacement from Jeff that was ~ half of what others were wanting to charge</p> <br />"

"Mr Porter came to my house within 2 days after I contacted him and provided an estimate to do the work.  Because he had several other jobs already scheduled we agreed on a date two weeks away for him to do the work.  I contacted Mr Porter the beginning of the week we had scheduled the work, and  established a time and day for him to do the work.  Mr Porter arrived to do the job at the time and on the day we had agreed to.  Mr Porter had all of the tools, equipment, and supplies required to completed the job as agreed.  After completion of the work Mr Porter made sure all scrap was removed and the area was as clean as when he arrived.  I would call Mr Porter again without hesitation when I required the services of a handyman.. <br />"
