I’m a hardworking person who doesn’t like to leave projects half finished or looking sloppy, I can be a bit of a perfectionist. I’ve always fixed and built almost everything I needed myself and I take pride in being self sufficient. I’ve been an electrician for a year and half now and before that I was fabricating aerators for private residences. I have a wife and two children, so I can handle the chaos of a whole house remodel even if you decide to alter any details halfway through.

"We had experience with JE Shekell on a plumbing problem in the past and we liked their work. We called them for this project and their technician spent close to a month, working several hours Monday through Friday, to get the entire house rewired. In the end, there are still one or two outlets that don't work, but we acknowledge that they are in very hard to get to areas. We were pleased with JE Shekell and would use them again."

"They came out to the house a couple of times to check exactly what sections of concrete needed to be repaired and to take measurements. Their work was very good, precise and looks wonderful. They could have just made a standard, straight L-shaped sidewalk from the back yard to the front of the house, but they curved the sidewalk and slanted it for drainage away from the house and it looks wonderful. We also had them put up a retaining wall beside the sidewalk since our property is downhill from our neighbor's house and we needed a wall to hold back the soil. I asked them to make the retaining wall the same multi-color tan brick as our house. They did sub-contract this work, but the Heidorn Construction people did oversee the work. They planted new grass above the retaining wall and graded the soil so it would not come over the new retaining wall. The finished retaining wall curves the same as the sidewalk, looks wonderful and we have had many positive comments about how good the sidewalk and retaining wall look. "I chose this company because they'd done a neighbors' concrete and they were pleased with the experience and the sealant that was used doesn't change the appearance like most do. <br />   When I first contacted them they were booked ahead with big jobs. They could get to me by mid-June, but would fit my job in earlier if possible. They did, several weeks earlier. <br />   They cleaned my driveway, personal walk and patio, public sidewalk, and curb. Special care was given to the highly dirty/mildewed areas. I pointed out some decorative border stones and a repaired area that would be fragile and he took care to not damage those (or anything else).  <br />   They discussed whether the water-based or solvent-based sealant would be better given the age of my concrete (and the tendency to mildew). The solvent-based was used with special attention to those areas prone to mildew. <br />   They kept me well-informed re: what was being done and what I can expect going forward. <br />   I'm LOVING the clean look and also seeing water just bead up on top!! <br />   I didn't give an 'A' re: price, but it may have been competitive re: what I had done and the products/tools used. I hadn't gotten any other prices since I knew I wanted them to do it."

"He had me go to Lowe's and open a charge card to get a window and he would install it. Then when I went to Lowe's, they didn't have the order. When I called Joey Woods he said the wood was to rotten around the window and he couldn't do the work. He should have told me that back in May when he gave me the estimate."
