"My heating unit went our on a Saturday Jan 27 2017. I called my warranty company which dispatched Indoor Air of VA. The whole process went great, the gentleman was very nice and pleasant when he showed up. He spent less then 5 minutes under my house diagnosing the problem. That is where every thing went down hill. The man from Indoor air of Va told me I needed a new blower motor. He explained to me that he could get the part and be back to repair in with in 48 hours if the warranty company would let him. A week later I call my warranty company to find out that they have not heard a word from him and are waiting on a diagnoses on the unit. The 2-10 warranty company contacted him while I was on the phone and got the diagnoses needed. I was then told it would be a special order part that should be available to be installed by mid week the following week. I call the contractor after getting off the phone with the warranty company and he told me he could possibly still get the part faster and he would call me the next day to let me know. On Tuesday the 6th of February I received a call from the warranty company telling me that Indoor Air of Va was refusing to complete the job without explanation. They had no choice but to return the special order part to the company and start all over with another contractor. I called the gentleman from Indoor Air of VA, and he told me they where taking a couple days off due to a family issue. When I asked him why could he not call me and let me know and what happened to the calling me back last Friday? He then told me that he doesn't have to call me and tell me anything. He said that I was not his customer 2-10 home warranty was, and he doesn't owe me any explanation. I told him I was going to write a bad review and he said he didn't care about reviews. This is going to end up costing me a second deductible for the new contractor, yes Indoor Air of VA was happy to cash my check even though I'm not his customer. It is also going to delay the repair an additional week or more, if the original diagnoses was correct, so the special order part can be reordered. This man was paid 100 dollars by me, plus what ever he billed the warranty company for being under my house less than 5 minutes. He was rude on the phone and I would not recommend any one ever due business with him."

In reference to Dominion Net Metering Programme, TopTier Solar Solutions provides eligible homeowners information on going Solar. We’re a resource to answer questions, service systems and mostly if you qualify and decide to go Solar, accompany you on the road to energy independence. We ensure that you get what you need when transitioning to solar energy. We know going Solar can be confusing, but we’re here to help make it as easy as possible for you.
"This is a horrible company, not only will they tell you it will run your whole house for a week if the battery backup is installed. Then you find out for 32k it will run the refer, microwave and a light. When you question them they tell you it can?t power anything on a 220V circuit. So you will burn up in the summer and freeze in the winter. The system won?t even produce enough power to offset the grid power you use. IF THEY COME TO YOUR HOUSE AND TRY AND SELL YOU ANYTHING, get rid of them. I?ve saved a friend from spending 48k with this company. I have also contacted the NC Attorney General?s office along with the BBB. They promised to install a generator to run my AC and after the solar was installed, they said no one told me that. THEY WILL LIE AND CHEAT YOU OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND ALL YOU?LL HEAR IS CRICKETS. Oh and if anyone is dumb enough to use this sham of a company , they will send you a video and make you turn the whole system on without sending anyone. "

"EDITED TO ADD: Really impressed by the follow-up by Jennifer of the company, who called me at home and made it clear they wanted to make this situation right. I'm impressed by her customer service and have changed my review stars, as she made it clear that this was an aberration and they wanted to make things right. She offered her personal cell phone to arrange any future service, and that type of attention to remedy an unhappy customer speaks highly of how they do business. Wildly incompetent and a waste of our time to hire them. My husband understands plumbing, but works long hours and was trying to "buy back time" by hiring a professional to finalize a toilet kit repair. We hired Foster based on reviews and they sent out someone who was so weirdly patronizing for also being so incompetent. When my husband explained that there was a new kit installed and it was mostly complete, but there was a small leak that needed finalized tightening, the plumber didn't even get down on the ground to inspect the back of the stool. He just informed us we needed a "major rebuild" and a new toilet. WHAT?!?! I sincerely don't know if he's just poorly trained and didn't understand the problem or whether he was trying to exploit us. It didn't make sense that he didn't understand the problem, especially when someone was telling him explicitly what was needed. He also quoted $299 each for two faucets replaced, which is the HIGH end of average costs. I don't mind paying more for quality work, but someone without a basic understanding of a toilet leak shouldn't be charging high market value for their work. My husband paid for the service call and declined services, and used his lunch break to fix the toilet completely (no new parts nor rebuild necessary) and install faucets. We were quoted $920.34 for 3 tasks that took an accountant less than 1.5 hours to complete, without any formal plumbing training. That's not okay. Beyond that, I'm completely unimpressed with the management. Before posting a negative review, I make sure to go directly to management and see what they'd like to do to fix the frustration. Shawna (sp?) kept saying "I understand what you're saying," but clearly didn't. She kept talking about there being set prices for parts. WE DIDN'T NEED PARTS. She also kept defending how qualified he was, but that makes no logical sense if someone non-certified can have a better and quicker understanding of how to fix the problem. There are too many other reliable, qualified, reasonably priced plumbers out there. I will never do business with this one again. They might have other good plumbers, but our guy was not one of them."
