"Can't say enough good things about this company (twice!). My driveway was flooding badly whenever it rained, and I found four companies to bid on a drainage solution. Green Frog was one of the last two companies scheduled to quote, and Andrew showed up with his iPad. He listened to me, inspected my driveway, then carefully inspected the crawlspace of my house, my backyard drainage angles, and photographs I provided of an aerial view. He was there an hour at least, and I was beginning to think he was a bit obsessive about the quote. But he came in and sat with me, showed me diagrams of his proposal, a detailed quote, and a thorough knowledge of the issues. It was amazing. No other contractor had done anything like it, giving me quick oral estimates that in some instances seemed bizarre. I chose Green Frog, and their technicians showed up (on schedule in two weeks time) , worked incredibly long hours, and did a really spectacular job on the installation. It was all fantastic. I can't say enough about the old-school attitude of honest work and integrity that Green Frog embodies. Follow-up: Almost six months after initial installation, the drainage system has held up well, with only one incident of flooding following an absolute torrential downpour. But Blair and his team still came out, inspected the progress, and decided they could improve the surface rocks and drainage with further work. They did it for free, and it was a major upgrade. A team of two hard-working professionals labored half the day to quadruple the rock shield, clear and restore one installed drain, and enhance the system's capacity for rapid water drainage. Amazing. Absolutely amazing."

"Allen Santone owes me $4580 dollars. I was awarded a civil judgement against him that he has made no attempt to date to pay. Allen's company was hired to replace older wooden decking and railing with Trex. I paid $6838 upfront to cover demo and $3488 of that for the Trex decking. Similar to the negative reviews below and on Angie's List Allen quoted a total of $9838 for the entire job on a very vague contract then began asking for additional money after demolition left the deck unusable. Initially, I was asked for additional money to address wood rot on the frame and joists of the original deck. This was not completely unexpected due to its age. Allen then came back and asked for additional money stating that the joists were not level, another similarity to one of the negative posts below. After significant delays, my goal was to get the job finished as I had already paid a significant amount of money to Allen and his company. At this point Allen tried to convince me to hire his company to construct a retaining wall, which I declined and simply asked that he finish the job I had paid for. After declining his services to construct a retaining wall several more times and insisting that he do the work he'd been paid for he then told me that his "connection" who he normally gets materials for $1000 from could not be located and that the total for materials was now over $10,000. If you recall I paid for materials upfront. By this time we were several months beyond the start of the project. Since the contract that work was being executed against was a fixed price contract I was not willing to pay the additional cost for materials. At that point Allen stated that he was only willing to issue me a partial refund of $2400 which didn't even cover the money I had paid for materials that were NEVER DELIVERED. I requested that Allen return half of what I had paid him, which I thought was more than fair since he was the one breaking the contract. He refused. I ended up filing a claim against him in South Carolina's small claims court for which I was awarded $4580. I had to hire a whole new company to not only finish the work but also address issues that I had paid Allen and his company for. I also ended up purchasing materials twice since Allen took money for materials that he never ordered or delivered and refused to refund payment for."

All Around Gutters has including the owner/operator, 4 employees and 2 crews operating 7 days a week, who have had years of experience doing this type of work. We sub-contract for several high rating existing companies, and residential/commercial jobs as well! We give you an Estimate after coming to quote job for free, and after job is completed an invoive for total amount agreed upon, and is due within 15 days or amount will increase 10% of total for each week late. Our special promotions for residential customers are what is called a "PMP" or Preventative Maintenance Plan, as for our contractors or commercial customers, we will offer a discounted price for bulk work.

"I had gutters that were spilling over causing wood damage. I had been using someone else to clean the gutters. I thought I would need them re-sloped or replaced. It ended up there were just some leaves stuck in the downspouts which they cleaned and also they put in a few screws to shore up the gutters. That was really honest of them. I was so worried, I would have replaced the gutters, but they were honest that they could fix the problem easily. They came out quickly, were very polite and honest and fairly priced."

FAQs for gutter installation projects in Fort Mill, SC

Aluminum gutters last longer than vinyl gutters and can withstand more extreme weather conditions. Vinyl gutters are more affordable and may be ideal for homeowners in mild climates. The best choice depends on your specific needs. If durability and corrosion resistance are priorities, aluminum gutters are an excellent option. Both materials effectively protect your home from water damage during heavy rainfall.

A 6-inch gutter offers superior water management compared to a 5-inch gutter, making it the optimal choice for areas with heavy rainfall. The wider gutter handles significantly more water, improving overall performance and reducing the risk of overflow. Upgrading to 6-inch gutters enhances durability and ensures robust drainage during intense rain events, ultimately safeguarding your home while maintaining efficient operation.

Yes, installing gutters by yourself can be challenging. Removing and disposing of old gutters and correctly installing new ones requires skill and experience. Without proper knowledge, you may have difficulty determining the best gutter type and placement for your home. It is advisable to contact multiple professionals for consultations and quotes.

Aluminum gutters can last up to 30 years with proper maintenance. They are durable and resist corrosion, making them suitable for various climates, including cold, wet, and snowy conditions. Regular cleaning and inspections help extend their lifespan and ensure they function optimally to protect your home's foundation. Ask your gutter installation pro for maintenance tips to ensure that your aluminum gutters have a long lifespan.

Aluminum gutter installation takes an average of one day. Professional installers perform precise measurements and efficient installation, including removal and disposal of existing gutters and any necessary roof adjustments. This ensures proper fit, correct installation, and optimal performance, minimizing disruption during the job and providing a durable gutter system for your home.
