"They did some weeds on one of my properties. It is in a condominium complex, there is no house on it. It is a vacant lot. They took care of the weeds for me. He told me that if the weeds came back, he would come back for me. He came back no problem. I wanted him to do something else for me. He came back in another city not far from where he is. He said he would do it. He came back and I guess, he didn't want to do it. He said it would have to be more. I wanted him to take care of the weeds because he did it before for me. He wouldn't call me back. The other thing I wanted him to do is just some work he said he could do. He estimated it and said that he doesn't want to do it. Because he is not licensed so he could not do it. I tried to get him to come a couple of times to do the weeds but he would not get back with me. He come out and it cost me $300 to have him do it. So he did it. He said if the weeds came back, he would take care of them. Well they came back, I asked him to take care of it and he would not take care of them. It was after a time period that he said that he would do it. Then I had him come see me in another city, he is just ignoring me. He doesn't want to follow up on what he says. The first time he came out, he did a good job. The second time, he said he would come out and do it. he did not do it. He was a little high. He was on time. I don't feel that he is very professional. I would never use him again. He is not licensed or insured."

"Matko arrived on date as promised and right on time. Owner and workers were very personable and reliable. Always arrived on time every day. Kept me apprised of progress and double checked to make sure colors were exactly as requested. They did an excellent job. They were very careful and took off all light fixtures and replaced exactly as found. I can't recommend Matko Painting enough. On final day of job all workers thanked us for hiring them. I will definitely hire them again. <br />"

"After seeing very positive reviews on Angie's List, I contacted Ultimate Services for a quote on repainting the exterior of my house and surrounding block walls. Owner Rick Brown promptly set up an appointment to look at the project and make the appropriate measurements. He emailed me a detailed quote within a couple days specifying the use of the Sherwin Williams paint as I had requested. The price quoted was very reasonable and lower than the other quotes I had collected. I gave Ultimate Services the job and work began about 10 days later. With a crew of two plus himself, an impressive amount of prep work began that included sealing even the smallest cracks in the stucco, wood trim, and masonry block walls that surround the sides and back of my house. Windows, doors, etc. were carefully masked and the two-coat painting began. The crew work efficiently and did not hesitate to ask questions as the work progressed. Trash was disposed of and equipment was stored at the end of each day. I was encouraged to inspect the work daily and place blue tape to mark any areas that I felt needed attention. The project took about a week. The final result left me a very satisfied customer. From the colors to the attention to details, Rick and his crew provided a superior service for a very reasonable price. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others."

FAQs for exterior home or structure paint or stain projects in Fort Mohave, AZ

Painting vinyl siding is a budget-friendly way to revive curb appeal without paying for new panels. As long as the boards aren’t warped, cracked, or leaking, a coat of high-quality acrylic paint can buy you another five to 10 years before replacement.

Stick to lighter shades so the siding doesn’t soak up excess heat, and prep the surface well for the paint to bond. If you’re seeing rot or moisture damage, skip the paint and plan for new siding instead.

High-quality acrylic paint is recommended for vinyl siding. Acrylic paint adheres firmly to vinyl surfaces and resists peeling and fading, providing a sleek and long-lasting finish. Ensure the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for optimal results. Your exterior painting pro has the expertise to properly prepare your siding’s surface to ensure proper adhesion.

Priming is not required if the vinyl siding remains in good condition and is properly cleaned. However, if the original color is severely faded or the panels have become porous, priming becomes essential. Priming provides a smooth, even base that improves paint adhesion and enhances durability, ensuring the acrylic finish adheres properly and lasts longer.

A paint sprayer is the quickest, most consistent way to coat vinyl siding. The fine mist reaches grooves a roller can miss and lays down an even layer in a fraction of the time. You’ll still need a brush for tight corners, but a sprayer slashes labor hours and reduces lap marks.

If you’re renting equipment, ask the supplier for a tip size made for exterior acrylics so the paint atomizes correctly and sticks to the siding.

Painted vinyl siding lasts between five and 10 years. The durability depends on the quality of the surface preparation and the local climate conditions. When the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepped, and high-quality acrylic paint is used, the finish endures longer. In hotter regions, the lifespan may be closer to five years, while cooler climates help extend it.
