When a board had a slight gap in it, Robert's technician expended great effort to scrape the plank off of the floor (our lower level flooring was glued to the concrete slab) and replace it with a new one. Robert also was very careful to do our stairways just right, and came back several times after we had already paid him to do touch ups! <br /> He will also move furniture, which other installers will not do, or will charge extra for doing. Robert's quote was about a thousand dollars less than Flooring Express' own installers (not counting furniture moving, which Flooring Express installers would have charged a lot for), and about half of what another contractor wanted. <br /> Robert has a small operation and he can't send in ten guys to finish a job in one day, so you have to be a little patient with the scheduling sometimes, but it is well worth it for quality work. Everything is done very professionally, with everything in writing to minimize surprises. His project manager, erected a plastic barrier to protect the rest of the house from dust created by the kitchen demolition. It worked great! We are completely satisfied with Wallace's work, thanks in no small part to Marc Wallace. I would highly recommend that anyone who is considering a remodeling project to at least get an estimate from Wallace Construction Group. We love our two-story addition, bath and kitchen."
