They were on time as scheduled, did a great job communicating plans. They were mindful to protect the grass and landscaping. The concrete had to be hauled around back from the concrete truck 200 ' away on the street. Their clean up was spotless!"

"It went very very well. They were on time, very friendly, and were happy to educate us throughout the process. Their bid was mid-level; it wasn't the most expensive but also wasn't the cheapest. However after he took the time to explain the process we knew he was the right man for the job. Due to the heat and because the driveway was so large, we had a little bit of cracking. They came back out and repaired the cracks until we were completely satisfied. I plan to rehire them again in the spring to build us a fence in our backyard. "All projects were completed with beautiful results. Their masonry division and pavers division both employ professional, seasoned crews who are assigned to the project with experienced foremen. With all of the projects there was meticulous care taken with the work, and they communicated with me about matters that came up along the way. The company was very easy to work with in negotiating the agreement, reviewing details, and getting responses to various questions along the way. There was a small group of stones, intended for capstones on a wall, that were not of the quality of the other stone, and they replaced those for me. Dan (masonry division & company) and Marty (paver division), division managers and senior managers of the company, offer careful review of their respective divisions' work and of the overall projects, and clearly care about their customers. The onsite foremen (John - masonry) and Rob (Pavers) were very careful with the details and the progress of the projects. They brought a lot of positive energy and enthusiasm to the work every day. In one instance a section of the drive wasn't to Rob's liking, and they pulled up that section and redid everything. They were careful to adjust the angles for drainage on the driveway, and were attentive to details that a lesser company might not pay attention to. They will purchase the quality of pavers/stone requested by the customer, and the Unilock pavers I chose to have installed both look beautiful, and appear to be durable also. They were attentive to protecting my home from construction dust, as I had requested, covering windows and doors in the vicinity, and cleaned up well after their work. I had a landscape design created for the overall plan for renovating the exterior of my home, and they comfortably worked with that design in establishing the dimensions of the various paver projects. I thought that the front area and driveway would look very nice as planned but it looks even better than I had hoped. Neighbors, and even the mail carrier have commented upon the awesome work; it is nice when one's neighbors can also enjoy and appreciate the results of a home project. Early in the planning stages I was deciding upon whether I was going to use HiCon's services for this work or another contractor. What tipped the balance was some advice from another contractor I had working at my home, who has had occasion to see HiCon's work over time because of the work that they do; their comment was that they thought I should contract with HiCon because their work is excellent and really holds up over time. Where this other contractor might see a more amateurishly constructed patio start to show signs of wear after a few years, the HiCon structures they have had occasion to see are often there many years later, still in good shape. I couldn't be more pleased with the work."

"Bottom Line Up Front: if you need a contractor to pour concrete for patio, garage, etc. look no further. Jim and his crew at Powerhouse were absolutely amazing. I say this as I was (embarrassingly so) that nightmare customer who could not make up his mind and thankfully Jim was right there to calmly lead me thru various solutions for my patio. I needed a patio extension so that can build a gazebo on it next month and he designed options that met all the future project's requirements without breaking the bank. He really knows his business. Jim is not only patient, but trustworthy too. He talked me out of a very expensive approach that I had asked for my patio by explaining that for what I was going to use it for, a less costly option would actually serve me better in the long run. Oh and remember I said I couldn't make up my mind. Well...halfway through the initial phase of the project I changed the dimensions and lay out of the patio twice. Instead of getting frustrated with me (the crazy customer), he said and I quote "no problem my friend, we will make it happen...that is what a good contractor does." In addition, his crew was very professional and respectful, and when they were finished with the job they left the job site pristine. I was very impressed in how Jim mentored these young men. To wrap this up, I was very impressed with the end product as it was very well done and looked incredible. At the end of the day, in spite of my indecision and two crazy change orders midstream, the project was completed on time and on budget. I would recommend Jim and his crew at Powerhouse anytime."

"My wife and I first approached Werbrich's Landscaping in September 2019 to talk about a patio project that we wanted to do during the spring of 2020. With an original and small concrete patio slab from 1957 off the back of our house, we wanted something new and different for our older kids (and their friends) to enjoy before they left for college. We had actually approached two other firms at the same time looking for design elements from all three, but after all designs and companies and people were evaluated, Werbrich's stood out as the favorite. We knew that what we were seeking to do with our project wasn't the biggest one that they were even working on at the time, but it was the biggest investment we had ever made on our landscape.  Given that, we wanted to feel like our needs and wants were listened to and attended to just like those spending 6-figures on a project.  We were definitely impressed. Dan Lynch was our landscape designer, and Dan listened incredibly well. He heard everything that we wanted, helped lead conversation on the things that we didn't necessarily know we wanted, and worked through multiple revisions to get the design to a place that we were very happy with.  He was there throughout the project as well if we had questions.  Eric Powers was our foreman for the job, making sure that everything on a daily basis went as it was supposed to. He was very communicative, and it was very easy to talk back and forth with him and the crew members about what was happening, why it was happening, and what the next steps should and would be. They were also very flexible with any changes that needed to be made along the way.  Even since the project has been completed, if there's anything that we need, they pick up the phone just as quickly as if we were new clients. The finished product looks amazing, and we are extremely happy with it. If we do any projects in the future, there's going to be no hesitation in calling Werbrich's again.  I would strongly encourage anyone looking at a landscaping work around your home to talk to them first about it."
