They even moved the excess dirt into a neat pile exactly where we requested. Once the job was done, they thoroughly cleaned up and even blew the driveway free of debris. "I hired Baumann's Lawn and Landscape to fix my front lawn. The soil was mostly clay and sand and covered in weeds. They killed and removed all the vegetation, tilled the soil, brought in new topsoil, conditioned/fertilized, and then laid sod. The crew was fast, efficient, polite, and did an amazing job (hopefully this site allows me to upload photos after writing this). The work was done in 3 separate days and took less than 2 weeks from the initial phone call to the finished installation. The price is what you would expect for this level of work and that much sod (sod is not cheap). They're not over-priced but it's not Bob's discount landscaping either. You'll get your money's worth for your project. Baumann's will be my #1 choice for future landscape projects."

Also, the yard runs wet anyway with a natural creek that runs through the property. JD, the owner, came out to estimate what re-grading the yard would cost so that the water could be diverted away from the house. He was thorough, professional, down to earth and honest. The bid was reasonably priced and I appreciated having options: he gave me various estimates for less versus more work. Ultimately, I decided to do everything at once so that I could put any potential drainage issues to rest. The team came out as scheduled and they handled it all very well and efficiently. They definitely knew what they were doing and they instilled me with confidence from the start. The project took a day and a morning, and my yard is now BEAUTIFUL.
