"Michael was incredibly personable and professional. I was able to meet him to discuss the project and he politely answered all of my questions. The property had been in the family for decades and had not been surveyed in quite awhile, so some of the "markers" were not easily located. None-the-less, Michael took the time, even visiting the property more than once, in order to be thorough and precise. I am extremely impressed with his diligence and professionalism. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a land surveyor."

"My neighbor was refusing to believe that the fence between our properties was sitting on my land even though the two property pins at the ends of the lot were "past" the fence.  Land point surveyors had surveyed my property earlier and I called them out to mark the property line. They use a tape measure to do their work. The slack in the tape measure results in too much error in the property edge location. They marked the property line but the markers were not in a straight line. I shot a laser from one end to the other and some of the markers were almost 6" off from the straight line. In this era of GPS and lasers, I felt their measurement technique was too sloppy. I got another company to come and redo the job. They used transit levels and the line they marked was perfect. <br /> I like the friendliness of this company but I was not thrilled with the accuracy of their work. <br />"

"Because of CBG's relationship with a "predecessor" company, I used them as the predecessor company, which is no longer in business, had done an older survey of my house when I purchased it.  The initial phone call went great with Lois and she was more than happy to find my old survey in her records.  The site visit was done within a few days and I received both an electronic copy and several hard copies in the mail as well.  The only reason I gave them a B for quality and not a A, is that I previously had two metal outbuildings on my property, but have subsequently removed one a couple of years ago.  The new survey I received still showed both metal buildings. <br /> <br /> Update:  Found an issue with their survey that I ultimately decided to hire another survey company at my expense to provide a new survey to correct.  Moving quality rating to C."
