Now the company offers tree service. Ben Yost, the owner, is a licensed arborist and really knows his trees. He worked on several landscape trees for me last spring and I will have the service repeated this year as I try to balance some tree sizes and shapes with their locations in my yard. In addition to its various high quality outdoor services, Farm and Garden offers free home delivery for merchandise of $35 or more, and I have used it several times for mulch, largish quantities of bird food, etc. Delivery is always reliable, cheerful, and did I mention FREE? This is just a wonderful company. <br />"

We hired them mid-season and although we've not (yet) used them for lawn service, we are more than pleased with the professional care and commitment they made to us during this harsh winter season. They were timely (providing service at 2 inches of snowfall), efficient, prompt. Servicing us during the night shift made waking up to a plowed driveway an absolute delight! With the unusually high snowfall this season, we never had to worry about being inconvenienced by the weather. "We had severe tree and landscape damage from a wind storm that hit our area in July of 2011. Three large pine trees and a evergreen privacy hedge that lined one side of our brick patio were destroyed. I heard about Ben from our lawn service guy. I called Ben to get an estimate and he came out as scheduled. He asked us what our ideas were for the areas to be landscaped. After listening to our ideas, Ben took measurements and made some notes. Ben promised us a written estimate by email within the next few days. <br /> The estimate came as promised and we agreed to go with Ben. <br /> The project was started as scheduled although we did have some weather issues during the project. The crew was prompt, friendly, and courteous. They answered our questions and dealt with any concerns that we had. <br /> The thing that we like most about Ben and crew is that they very good at making creative suggestions that enhance the project while making sure to try and stay within your budget. <br /> The completed project was very professionally done and above our expectations. We would use Ben again without getting any other estimates."
