"Kevin came to take a look, made some recommendations of what he would do, took some measurements, and said he'd get back to me with a quote. 5 days later, no quote. Called, got no response to my message. 2 days later,called again, got no response to my message. Gave up and started looking esewhere. The day after I posted this review, Kevin emailed me the long awaited quote, which I ultimately accepted. Just a few days before he arrived to do the work, I told him I wanted to increase the square footage of my lawn restoration project, and he agreed. When the day came, he arrived with 3 great workmen, land ripped up my old lawn, tilled it under, added compost and topsoil, and seeded it along with a starter fertilizer and a moisture retaining mulch compound, and reseeded. All the work was done professionally, and in one day for about a 5,000 sq foot lawn. Now , about 10 days later, the lawn is coming in, and the neighbors have commented how good it looks so for. So, for his initial responsiveness, I'll give Kevin a B rating, but for quality of work, it definitely rates an A rating."

Even my wife who is extremely critical was so happy with everything and could not find one single thing she wished was done differently! <br /> <br /> I got a quote from another landscaper for more than 2x of J&J's price which I couldn't afford. I then got a referral of J&J from my neighbor, so I gave them a call ~ 4 weeks ago. Pat White came out to my house about a week later to give me an estimate. I recalled that they had planted some beautiful trees in my back yard some years ago. <br /> <br /> Needless to say, I was impressed that J&J's quote was $1440 (compared to the other quote I had that was $3775). Pat told me only what was needed (no upsell) and he offered to trim my shrubs as part of the deal. <br /> <br /> They came to my house on July 7, 2011 (exactly the day they said they would come). They had a crew of 4 people. It took them all day. We weren't home when they did the work. I had a quick chat about what was going to be done. I left a case of bottled water outside for the crew, which they appreciated. My family and I took off for the day and when we returned we saw the most amazing landscape! They cleaned up everything, took away all of the debris and old mulch. <br /> <br /> I highly recommend this outfit to anyone! They are priced fairly. They are prompt. They do GREAT work!!!"
