"Valley Tree safely cut down the tree, chipped the small branches, cut the larger pieces to firewood size and cleaned up. The job took about 2.5 hours. The firewood was left on site since it would have cost another $550 for them to load and haul off. No problem getting rid of the firewood- put up a sign in the yard for free firewood and it was gone within 24 hours. They came back 3 days later to grind the stump. "We contacted Mike Vanderpool of Noah Construction at the reccommendation of our friend who works at Home Depot. I emailed Mike about our proposed plans of building a foyer closet with lighting using the excessive available space in the adjoining laundry room. I am by nature a very punctual person and when I got a reply back just moments after sending the email I knew this was my guy! He was courteous and interested in the project despite it being rather small scale. We corresponded with regard to timelines and meeting to look at the home. He arrived at our home precisely on time and after normal business hours since my wife and I also work. He spent time talking with us, measured the space, quoted a very reasonable price and never made us feel rushed. The project began the following week and knocked it out in two days in beautiful form. He left us to do the painting which we requested (to save us some money) but everything else he and his crew did to our overwhelming satisfaction. As far as we are concerned he is our go to guy for the countless projects we have yet to tackle. We have already contracted him to do the install of our laundry cabinetry, butler's pantry and my garage lighting!
