"I purchased a Spring Clean Up Special for mid May, date dependent on weather. It was a rainy week with our backyard swamped. I recommended they put me off a week for the yard to dry up. I was told the crew works rain or shine & a delay on my part would put me at the back of the line. The 2 man crew arrived and they agreed the backyard was too wet and working it would trench the lawn. I recommended they work the front yard and return to finish the job after a few dry days. The office makes it simple for themselves and considered my job as DONE rather than incomplete.. If I wanted to start from scratch they would allow me to purchase another Spring Clean Up Special rate for the backyard & would be scheduled at the back of the line for mid June. The landscape team was great, the office manager is great, but just be warned that the Company has a policy that doesn't care about following through with their commitment. ."

"Chubb Construction was very responsive and called me back within a few hours. We set up a time they would come look at the project, since it was outdoors I didn't need to be home. After looking at the job they called me back immediately and suggested we set up a time together to meet with a city inspector to discuss what the most cost effective option would be that would also satisfy the city's requirements. Chubb did all the leg work of calling the right people at the city and actually found out our city may have changed the way it deals with water from the gutters etc per new EPA recommendations. Chubb relayed this information to me and even gave me the phone number for who to contact at the city. The city is now reviewing if the work needs to be done at all. If all goes well this will literally save us thousands of dollars. I appreciate the honesty of the company and for them to go out of the way to discover we many not even need their services! I definitely trust them and will be calling them if I have future projects that come up!"

"1. They create a professional design video so I knew exactly what I was getting.... Yes VIDEO! 2. They tore out the old, bland concrete patio and laid down a beautiful stamped concrete pattern. 3. They stained the concrete to a color of my choosing and added a glaze! The pic below does not do the finished product justice. It was taken before staining and glazing. 4. Then they cleaned up the area. I LOVE my new patio. Only downside was some damage to my grass from the large, professional equipment used. But I will be hiring them again for more work. They are AMAZING!"

"The design process was excellent; Kevin provided multiple designs for us as we explored different ideas and sizes for our paver patio before making a final decision. He was also very reasonable about pricing, including taking money off for each bush or shrub that we decided against. The installation was done as scheduled, given a slight rain delay. The work took two days total, and the yard was put back together again with no work needed by us, with the exception of watering new plants and grass seed. Finally, they were very good about follow-up with questions about the grass seed, and advice about a new power transformer for landscape lighting and some lighting suggestions, even after the job was done. We got a couple estimates for this project, and Costello was comparably priced, but we chose them because of their design work and they seemed to have knowledge about this type of project that the others did not."
