"It took us over a year to find a firm willing to address the sinking drain cover in our driveway. We received bids ranging from a totally redo of the driveway to overly creative ideas. We had just about given up when I found a YouTube video that addressed a similar problem. Now I could show contractors what we needed done. So we again went online searching for a contractor. "While Dave was great communicating when onsite, we didn't hear about the delay in start (which affected other contractor start dates we already lined up) until we reached out to him to confirm. When they began framing, the frame was too short and not where our old patio had ended. Dave gladly moved it out, but told us that this is not where our old patio ended (which it was because we took before photos and measured). The lesson here is to always review the work as they are going, as if we didn't say anything, our patio would have been too short and our deck box would not have fit under the window where it was before. I will preface the rest of this feedback by saying that I'm a firm believer in leaving someone home the way you find it and that I'm a detail-oriented person by nature. I was disappointed at how ruined our grass was afterwords. At the beginning, they told us they would lay down boards so the impact on the grass from driving on it would be minimal, however, when they left, it looked like there were never even boards laid down and we now need to invest the money to fix the lawn on the entire side of our house. I was also disappointed in the border coloring. The woman was not friendly when I went out to confirm everything with her and it ended up very sloppy (drip marks in spots, pools of color in other spots). The coloring on the side of the stairs is also very sloppy and not even. Lastly, they drilled into our siding to brace the stair frame and never even told us. While I understand that it might have been necessary, it would have been great for them to tell us about it or caulk back up the holes when they were done. For this kind of money, I think the small details matter as much as the big ones and I was not impressed from that standpoint."

"Dale was very thorough in his examination of my situation and gave me clear explanations of what was going on. Other firms that quoted the work insisted that the entire basement needed to be done. Dale said that we only need to fix what is leaking. Cost to do that was one third that of other bids. Crew was on time, prompt and thorough. I would definitely use this firm again."

I happen to be driving and saw a Van from White rabbit so I called the number and immediately was put in touch with the owner Gary. We set up an appointment he came out right away and it started off them doing two projects for me. That led me to have them install slat walls in my garage and having custom workbench is made. Everybody from the crew that came out to the people in the office to the owners were excellent to work with. I’ve Since pass their name to friends and I would definitely use them again great company to work with"

"Nick and the Dry Otter crew do fantastic work. Everything from beginning to end was top notch. The estimate was true, the work was done well and on time, and the result of the project is perfect. I live on the East Side of Madison and have had water seeping into my basement for years now. Dry Otter trenched all the way around my basement and installed a sump pump. I've been thinking of doing this project for years and met with all of the local companies that do this, and I'm very glad that I picked Dry Otter for the project. I was definitely nervous about possibly having to rip out the existing basement stairs as part of the job, but these guys were able to preserve the existing stairs which saved me from a huge additional cost. I'd recommend anyone to strongly consider this company for a sump pump installation. They answered all of my questions after the job and even sent someone after the project was done to tighten a nut on the water meter that was slowly leaking. Now I'm turning half of my basement into a chill out zone for the kids and keeping the other half as a utility basement. Our house just became way better. Probably the best thing I can say about this crew is that they are honest business people that stand by their work. Expect a job done well, on time, and at a reasonable price."
