"For the entire season, they charge close to a thousand dollars, between $900 and $1,000. They are great. They come at regular intervals and put down the different applications that the lawn needs. So, we never have to call or anything. It is just an automatic service that they do. Truthfully, I have not had much contact with them because sometimes I am not even here when it happens. I am usually not here or even if I am here, sometimes, I do not even know they have been outside. They leave something in my mailbox. What stands out about them is that they are just very reliable and they do the service that we need. I never had a problem. We did, at one point, have some tree service with them and that was great, but that was not a recent thing."

"Working with Sprigs and Twigs, especially Linda, is a treat. She has a wealth of plant knowledge and an eye for design. Her first visit to our house was to discuss our wish list, how we use our yard, and to hear about any issues we wanted addressed. Usable space in the backyard was limited due to a large hill, so we knew a retaining wall was needed and we ultimately included a stone patio as well to provide an outdoor dining/entertaining area.
After taking measurements from that first visit, Linda returned with a large architectural drawing of our house and the garden designs. This was accompanied by a video presentation highlighting the various flowers, plants and trees that would be in each garden, so we could see height, colors, etc. Linda was very thorough and explained every detail to us during this two hour meeting. She also incorporates functionality into her designs – several plants attract butterflies to the yard and Linda also included herbs we could use for cooking.
On the day the gardens were installed, several trucks and people were on-site to get the job done. The crew clearly had assigned tasks and everyone got to work immediately. Linda was there as well directing the staff and placing the plants in the gardens. It was very impressive to watch so many people working as a team. The installation took nearly the entire day followed by clean up. Any debris, mulch, dirt, etc was swept up from the patio, porches and driveway. The crew left everything looking even better than before they arrived! No detail was overlooked. We highly recommend Sprigs and Twigs to anyone who wants beautiful gardens designed and installed by a very professional and detail-oriented company."

"Jason Ferrandino was introduced to me by my pool contractor, Shoreline Pools. The project entailed gut renovating the entire 4 acre yard which involved site work, excavation, irrigation, masonry work and landscaping. We planted over 200 16-18 ft green giants, laid down 2 acres of sod and installed decorative plants around kitchen and pool hardscape. The outcome was amazing and I couldn't be happier. Jason is a consummate professional, extremely knowledgeable, responsive and great value for the money spent. He knows a lot about a lot and is a true savant. I look forward to working with Jason in the future to replace my roof and build a guest house on the property for my parents. An all around good guy who is trustworthy and who delivers on his promises and then some. Scott Brody"

"
The actual work done was satisfactory, just incomplete: the shrubbery was largely removed (some vegetation left but little enough that I will be able to get the rest out myself), The trees that were supposed to be taken down were taken down, and only one tree was taken down that I wasn't expecting, but I had told them "when in doubt, take it out", so I have no complaint with that.

One significant problem for me is that my understanding was that the original agreement included grinding the stumps of the trees taken down around the house, especially over the end of my leach field, so that the guy who cuts my grass could mow everywhere there had been overgrowth. However, the stumps of none of the trees were ground down (only the three Rose-of-Sharon bushes at the corner of the house), and I was quoted an additional charge to do the tree stumps. Then when they did come out to grind the stumps of the trees down, I wasn't home and they only did three small tree stumps in the front yard (for which they are charging me $75), and none of the ones at the end of leach field that I understood to be included in the additional quote. The stumps confusion was all verbal--I've learned my lesson: have a detailed, written, counter-signed contract, no matter how great the person you are dealing with seems to be).

Finally, I had got a quote from them for resurfacing my driveway with gravel. Again there was confusion about what was going to be done (whether it would be scraped down first or not, given that there's a large rock at the surface across the width of the driveway, and for this I have a complete email chain so I'm clear that I am not the source of the confusion). There was further confusion about when the work would be done. Lastly I have learned that the quote is high compared to what my neighbors have paid for comparably sized driveways, so I'm going to resume shopping around. I'd have been willing to pay it, however, if I'd been confident of a good job, and no confusion about what I was or was not paying for. The repeated 'surprises' were not reassuring, however, and I have decided that I will not have any further work done by them.
"

"Our school received a Green Schools award for outstanding environmental education in 2012. Part of our program is to ensure that we use green products including fertilization for our playing fields. I found John (the owner) through the Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA). They provided soil testing and analysis of our playing fields and then implemented an organic fertilization maintenance program that fit our needs. Our ground and playing fields are in great (healthy) condition, thanks to Go Organic.
"
