"Based on positive reviews on Angie's List, I called Eugene on Friday, 5/20 and he immediately set up an appointment for 8am on 5/21 to review the project.  He arrived 10 minutes early, quickly assessed the scope of the job, and provided an estimate before he left.  (Thankfully, there was a 10% off special at that time for Angie's List customers.) His estimate was very reasonable and I called him later that same day to give him the job and set 5/26 to begin.  <br> <br>He was good to keep me informed of his expected arrival time on 5/26 and got to work right away tearing out the old concrete, a wooden shed and old stored wood.  He forgot to include in his original estimate and extra $40 haul-away charge for the wood, but that was no big deal.  All the tear-out work was completed in about 5 hours, even after encountering some large tree roots that were hidden under the old concrete which also had to be removed.  Due to expected rain, they postponed the pouring of new concrete until next day. <br> <br>On 5/27, his crew and the concrete truck were timely in their arrival. They took great care in making sure the work was done right. The old concrete had not been sloped correctly and Eugene's crew were very precise in making sure the new slab would drain correctly.  They finished the job by mid-afternoon and did a good job of cleaning up the worksite once they were done.  <br> <br>Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with how the project went.  Within a week of my first call, the entire job was complete!  I would definitely hire Eugene Wigginton again. <br> <br>"

"It went well. Three or four people came to work on it and it took about eight weeks. The area was left clean and all the work was done. I was satisfied with the work. They do good work and they make sure it's done correctly before you pay them. They are easy to work with."

"He does give free estimates. It was a huge branch that had fallen off. We called him and he came out the very next day at the time he said he would, he was on a job at the time that we called him. He climbed up on the roof and after about 30 minutes he came back down and told us his estimate. For buying the shingles, chop the tree down and take it to the back yard (because we have a fireplace). He gave us a really good break. When he came down from the roof he said the other person had put down felt that goes under it so his was thicker but it looked fine with it. He said eventually we would need a new roof. The shingles were an extra $30. He did it all in one and a half days. My nephew went up on the roof to inspect and he said it was excellent. It has rained one time since then and there were no leaks or anything. He came exactly when he said he was coming in the exact time he said he would and for the exact price he said when we started."

"Mickey Strickland and his group did a great job. They arrived around the same time each day and cleaned up before they went home. The job was finished within the time-frame that was agreed upon. There were a few minor hiccups in the process but they were dealt with immediately and to my satisfaction. Mickey and his group were helpful in the design process and had some good ideas when designing the kitchen. Also everything was completely finished, there were no little odds or ends for us to resolve. They were very thorough."
