"Paul is very professional, knowledgeable, polite and trustworthy. I have hired him to do various handyman tasks for 3 different rentals plus minor work at my home. He is responsive and creative in his problem solving and approach to work. He employs a companion who is less skilled but very polite. Paul's qualities make up for the lack of skill of his assistant. With rental properties, I will continually need professional assistance and look forward to his assistance in the future."

"<p>Hans and Holly worked very hard at taking off the sprayed bubble ceiling we had. They also had to patch a large area in the hall that had water damage, they then painted the ceiling. When the job was complete they worked very hard to clean up the carpet and put things back.</p> <p>I was very impressed by their work and am happy with the results.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"I told him what I wanted and he designed and built exactly that. They are very sturdy which is what I wanted. When painted the same as my house, they look as if they were there when the house was constructed. When painted the same as my house, they just blend in. I am handicapped and they have saved me from some nasty falls. I would recommend Dan to friends and I have! I would definitely hire him again."

"Estimate was quite reasonable, Entire house plus storage shed were two coated using quality paint and three different colors. Body of buildings and accent for shutters and gables were twice  sprayed and back brushed. Trim boards, eve troughs and down spouts were twice brushed. Drop covers and masking paper were used to protect everything from drips and splatter. Final inspection and touch ups were very thorough. The entire job was done in an unreshed but timely manner. Mr. Fowler and his crew were pleasant to deal with and I will without a doubt have them back to do interior painting when the time comes for that job."

"They are reasonably priced. They matched the old color but they changed the texture. This is what we wanted. They are doing a good job and they are taking their time; they aren't rushing through it. The paint is included in the estimate. They are able to do doors and things without having to pull them and they aren't getting paint on the hinges and they aren't dripping on anything."

FAQs for exterior home or structure paint or stain projects in Glade Park, CO

Painting vinyl siding is a budget-friendly way to revive curb appeal without paying for new panels. As long as the boards aren’t warped, cracked, or leaking, a coat of high-quality acrylic paint can buy you another five to 10 years before replacement.

Stick to lighter shades so the siding doesn’t soak up excess heat, and prep the surface well for the paint to bond. If you’re seeing rot or moisture damage, skip the paint and plan for new siding instead.

High-quality acrylic paint is recommended for vinyl siding. Acrylic paint adheres firmly to vinyl surfaces and resists peeling and fading, providing a sleek and long-lasting finish. Ensure the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for optimal results. Your exterior painting pro has the expertise to properly prepare your siding’s surface to ensure proper adhesion.

Priming is not required if the vinyl siding remains in good condition and is properly cleaned. However, if the original color is severely faded or the panels have become porous, priming becomes essential. Priming provides a smooth, even base that improves paint adhesion and enhances durability, ensuring the acrylic finish adheres properly and lasts longer.

A paint sprayer is the quickest, most consistent way to coat vinyl siding. The fine mist reaches grooves a roller can miss and lays down an even layer in a fraction of the time. You’ll still need a brush for tight corners, but a sprayer slashes labor hours and reduces lap marks.

If you’re renting equipment, ask the supplier for a tip size made for exterior acrylics so the paint atomizes correctly and sticks to the siding.

Painted vinyl siding lasts between five and 10 years. The durability depends on the quality of the surface preparation and the local climate conditions. When the siding is thoroughly cleaned and prepped, and high-quality acrylic paint is used, the finish endures longer. In hotter regions, the lifespan may be closer to five years, while cooler climates help extend it.
