Gerry was extremely knowledgeable and greatly assisted us in the over all design of the bathroom remodel. He was amazing to work with, and was always reachable via text. "I recently used Golden Rule Plumbing & Contracting for the installation of a new hot water heater. The 20 year old existing system was heating water inconsistemtly and it started to leak. I found Golden Rule on Angie's list and requested a quote from both them and another highly rated plumbing company. Tim from Golden Rule got back to me first and his quote was similar to the other quote. I selected Golden Rule since Tim got back to me first and he was also very responsive to some additional questions I had. The scheduling was a breeze. They scheduled me for the next day (Monday) in the morning. They showed up earlier than planned but communicated with me ahead of time to make sure that worked for our schedule. They work they performed was excellent. They kept everything clean, communicated clearly what they were doing and why and were patient with my questions and even encouraged me to make sure I understood everything. They also moved the system a bit from the original location of the old system to help with access to the fireplace cleanout that is somewhat hidden behind the system. Overall, the experience was very pleasant and I would certainly recommend Golden Rule based on the work they performed. If I ever have another plumbing job, I will certainly reach out to them first!"

"It went very well.  He knew exactly what he was doing and he was able to fix all of our plumbing problems.  We will contact him again because he did a great job.  Our only problem was the cost but if the problems are taken care of, we will look to American for a quality job as we have had plumbers/handymen who end up costing us more in the long run.  The plumber, Dan, seemed to enjoy working on old plumbing and he was able to fix the issues with our very old and problematic plumbing right away.

"When Donny (plumber) got to my house I explained my problem. He tried several times to clear the kitchen drain, but it was unsuccessful due to mud clogged in drain in a pipe in the basement. He advised to add an access pipe to outside for better access to unclog drain without having to do major redesigning pipes in basement. Once the new access pipe was installed the outside the drain was cleared with not problems. Donny also suggested how to sharpen blades on garbage disposal and suggestions on how to keep drain clear in the future. I am so happy about the work Donny did and I am very grateful to him. This was a job that may have costed so much more, but Donny provided an very economical way of taking care of the problem. He was very professional, courteous, pleasant and caring person. He follow-up to make sure everything was good and I was satisfied. I would recommend Donny to anybody who needs a plumbing job done,"
