"Everything went well. We had chosen a color in advance and the painter Chris even suggested a better color that we actually liked better than what we chose. I was a stickler on clean lines and the painter and supervisor Connor made sure I had clean lines using precise masking. We were very pleased with the result!"

"I own a commercial painting contracting company. I've been doing this for 25 years. Never, in all my time, have I met someone who was so dishonest. If you are unfortunate enough to encounter Joe Harrison, RUN, do not walk away. I can be reached at painterjob.apps@gmail.com. Feel free to contact me and I will tell you all about my experience. I had to turn this over to my attorney, Bodman PC, in order to salvage what I could of the warranty and promised materials. What I can say is, Alpine Complete did the job, that's it. I would hope that no person ever has to be so vigilant when dealing with a company, once a "contract" has been signed. I will be happy to share correspondence from my lawyer and Harrison. The sordid tale is too extensive to sum up in a review. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!"

"I tweaked the door on my dump trailer. To try to save time I ordered a new door, thinking I could just slap it on. Surprise! the door did not match the trailer and had been shoddily constructed with the hinge barrels mis-aligned. I called Amerivet. I didn't get Gary- he sent out two younger guys. They came out and diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly. They were both personable, polite and worked well together. Great quality work, very reasonable pricing, great communication. Don't hesitate, call these guys."

"My project started back in April. Eric was friendly and sounded like he knew what he was doing. The kitchen was already demolished so we just need him to get it back together with the new material. Now I understand supply chain issues and waiting for supply’s but our four month kitchen did not have to take that long. Fast forward to the end of last week when we fired them. four months into our project not a single part of the kitchen is complete. Drywall isn’t done, cabinet doors are not sitting right, transition from the tile to wood floor not done, panels on cabinets are not done. Caulking on backsplash is not done, dishwasher is not set, filler strips are not in place, covers on electrical are not done floor vent was forgot about and never flipped around, sink was never caulked has been a nightmare. We feel that the 6000 we have paid was money well wasted. There is damages to our new cabinets which his solution was to put tape that matches the cabinet on it. There is grout on our brand new stove that we cannot scrap off without scratching the finish. Our insurance company withheld funds after they seen the work that been started and wanted water valves replaced and the gas valve replace since they are paying for a remodel not a cover up. We were super understanding and patient but we waited long enough for one thing to be finished. We couldn’t do him working on our project one day a week and then a week off and one day the next week and so on hence the four month project. After this disaster I would not recommend."

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Goodrich, MI

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
