"25 April 2025: Mr. Brent Stephenson and his crew, Chase inspected the items we requested to be repaired. Brent estimated the repair cost at $750 and would need 1 to 2 days to complete. He specifically requested Cash payment. I agreed to his terms but I requested an itemized bill to show the work performed and cost. He agreed. 26 April 2025: Chase came the next day to start the work. Noticed right away that Chase seem to be forgetful since he had to go back and forth to retrieve the tools he needed. Although, he seemed to know what he was doing. However, he had to stop work about three times to go to the Home Depot store to purchase materials for the repair, resulting in delay. He started at 0830 and left the work site at 1945. Work was not completed, however. Chase told us he had to go back in the morning to complete the work. He didn't return the next day. He helped me get materials and save the most money by coming with me and helping me purchase it. We ended up with pretty much zero scrap. Everything we bought was used. We made use of his truck a lot which was great. Lots of wood working. It came out exactly as I had hoped and his presence was very enjoyable throughout the process. Very courteous, communication was great, cleaned up after himself, checked in with my often to ensure things were moving in the direction I had preferred, so each hour of his time was put to the best use. I will be hiring him for small other small jobs and keep him in my contacts as a great all around handymen. He has lots of stories of his prior work and he takes passion in whatever he does.
