We had our roof replaced, our homes exterior painted, some siding replaced as well as two exterior dormer windows replaced. My daughter has used this company as well for new gutters as well as exterior painting. The workers are always friendly , professional and experienced. They answer all questions that you may have and leave the job site spotless after the job is completed. The office staff is always helpful and friendly as well and promptly return calls. "My wife and I recently decided to have some interior painting done in our home and we contacted First Choice Professional Painting to give us an estimate on the cost of the job and the time needed to perform. We had contacted them because they were listed on Angie?s list. I read all of the reviews for those participants listed in the Bloomington, IN area. Brandon Hood called and we set up an appointment to view the scope of the work and give us a estimate. He showed up on time and after viewing the rooms to be painted and recommending a color scheme with a reasonable cost estimate for the job, we decided to proceed and hired him to do the work to be performed on the following Wednesday. On Sunday he called and asked if he could move the schedule up to do the job on Monday, the next day. We agreed with the changed schedule. He and 3 others, a crew of 4, showed up on Monday at the agreed upon time. My wife and I had prepared the rooms to be painted by moving small items out of the area, and also removing switch plates and outlet covers. Within 10 minutes they were at work patching holes, taping the floors, and starting the ceiling. During the day they were efficient, courteous, hard working, and all business. We found it easy to relate with them, and they asked questions before proceeding with any questionable activity. We had initially expressed some doubt that they would be able to finish the job in one day. They painted the ceilings with 1 coat, 2 coats on the walls and 1 coat on the baseboards and trim in the front entry way of a split ranch, and the living room, dining area, kitchen, and bedroom hallway. They were good about cleaning up and protecting furniture that was still in the work areas. The job was finished ahead of schedule, and within the amount quoted for the job. The extra paint for the walls and trim was left with us for future touch-up. I would unequivocally recommend them for any work that they choose to bid on. We will hire them again if we have a need for interior / exterior painting services.

"The first time it was $21,000, then we had them do some additional...they gave us an estimate, I think of around $6000 and honestly we haven't paid them because they haven't finished. They seemed very professional. I thought they would do an excellent job. They could match our color scheme. This is in a company that is warranted, life time paint, never have to paint again and if we do, we'll come out time and time again to do it. So the idea was great and we had been having to paint the brand new home every year. We were tired of that and they seemed like they could do a great job and the product seemed very good. We had them paint it the first time and we had room additions added and they painted that. It seemed very good and very professional. They painted some things that they shouldn't have like the windows, so it is hard to close them. Overall they did a decent job but then the last time they came out to do some repair work, they actually did some construction in addition to the painting and then they didn't match the paint colors correctly. They didn't finish the repair work, where they thought they might have finished it, it wasn't as it was before architecturally, aesthetically pleasing anymore. I had a punch out list and I said, this is all the punch out list that needs to be addressed. They said something about, okay they'll take care of it but they never scheduled a time or place to review the punch out list or to schedule to get them fixed. We have been calling and they've not been returning our calls. We thought they were out of business actually. Then last year all of our windows sills rotted and again, with the paint that wouldn't have happened. We replaced all of our windows. The window company actually reached out to Hoosier Permanent Coatings  and they are still in business as you probably found them in your system. They said well because we didn't pay them that last amount our, warranty is null and void. So we've been trying to call them, we leave messages and they don't call us back. If we talked to them maybe this thing can be settled."
