"Owner Brandon Hood and crew completed project in just under a day.  Had good communication and follow ups thru out bidding and scheduling process.  Prompt replys made to all inquires.  Brandon was present and did some painting as he supervised the work.  Crew was careful not to get stain/paint on adjacent surfaces and shrubs.  Brandon and crew were responsive to being sure any and all missed spots were redone to owners satisfaction.  All used paint cans, etc. cleaned up before crew departed.  Over all a fine job by a hard working group. <br />"

"This was the easiest experience from start to finish. Kirsten came out to inspect, and prepare an estimate, complete with video footage noting areas of concern for the crew coming out. Full estimate was sent with clear process, timeline and pricing. Included in the estimate was the certificate of insurance. I didn't lift a finger to do any prep (except take down exterior lights on the house). All scheduled appointments were on time and did exactly what they were contracted to do. They left no mess or post clean up for me. Once finished, it was a total transformation, and the end result is way beyond my expectation. "Donald, owner of the company DKO Painting, and Alan and Tim, his employees/assistants, are Amazing, Pleasant, Professional, Punctual, Accommodating, etc—- all-around AWESOME!! ! "We are thankful and blessed that Jim was our contractor for our deck project. Jim was punctual and professional from the initial contact with him to the very end of the project. His crew were also very polite and professional. Jim responded to phone calls and emails promptly. They treated our property as if it were their own.  Mid-way through the project we changed our minds on the deck design and Jim was so nice about acknowledging our request and making the appropriate change.  They cleaned up every evening and and worked hard everyday they were here. <br /> Our only disappointment was that he had said he would be able to stain the deck and that didn't work out.  We really would have loved for him to finish the deck. <br /> We have another project lined up for him and will move forward with that this fall once we get the quote.  <br /> Jim is extremely busy and it is hard to get on his calendar.  My recommendation is that he is worth the wait.  I would find it hard to believe that anyone would be disappointed in Jim, his crew or the quality of work they do. <br />"

"Overall, the project went okay. However, in looking at the details of the work there were some significant problems. First, there was no effort to scrape exterior window frames before painting them. I had to spend 3 hours scraping windows as the crew simply painted over the old paint which then flaked off. Additionally, they did not caulk all areas where wood came together like the contract called for even after this was brought to their attention. Inside, they failed to treat the trim before painting it so the dark stain is visible. To their credit they have offered to come back and paint it again when requested. I also learned after they left that they had painted a significant portion of the white trim in the foyer. I have since had to go back over and re-paint all of that trim myself."
