"Outlaw did an awesome job for us. They were very professional and very knowledgeable about what they were doing. We had specific colors and patterns we were looking for and they helped us get a great looking patio right from the start. I highly recommend this crew for any concrete project you might have."

"The fall lawn treatment and shrub cleanup were done well. There were issues with fall cleanup though. First, it took an additional call to have it done, because, apparently, he forgot about our conversation. Second, we received the bill for services about 6 months later when I already forgot the details of our deal. Poor record maintenance, I suppose. On a positive note, I saw him cleaning the snow for the neighbors and he was doing by far the best job. <br />"

"excellent price and workmanship and although the weather was not cooperating I was Very pleased with their performance and maintaining my schedule. Mr. Carroll was on site for the entire job and was able to improve my plans and saved me $3800 on unnecessary materials and labor.... I believe that's very rare. In addition I made the mistake of driving over the driveway with my lawn mower after the crew left for the day causing significant damage to the finished concrete but without hesitation Mr. Carroll cut and removed that section and re-poured it the next day for no additional charge!!!! I highly recommend T & C CONCRETE FOR ANY OF YOUR CONCRETE NEEDS <br />"

"<br /> This company was sub-contracted through the company I used for landscaping. The company owner came to my house, we discussed what he would do, and we agreed on a date and price. During the discussion, I expressed that I didn't want the curbing poured at the bottom of my deck steps, as that would pose a tripping hazard. He told me they would cut it off, so that area is flat. When I got home from work, the job was complete. It looked great, except at the bottom of the steps, where I now have a full curb to step over. I tried that day to contact the company, as well as numerous other attempts since then, but they will not return my call. <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Grand Forks, ND

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
