"Completely rebuilt our 26-year-old wood burning mason fireplace to bring it up to code. In the firebox completely removed fire brick from back and both side walls. completely removed clay flue and replaced with insulated stainless steel. This included adding a lever operated lock top damper and stainless-steel exterior flue cap. Much time was spent adding chamber tech 2000 parge coating to the smoke chamber. Kevon and his two workers were excellent. All details on steps being taken were clearly explained. All carpeting was protected from the front door to the work area in the family room. All debris was removed from the job site. This was a big job that took two days to complete. Am following the recommended wait time and break in steps to be taken. It is comforting to know that we have a completely safe fireplace that is up to code. Looking forward on having Doctor Flue perform annual chimney sweeps during the off season. "Russ is a hard worker and works alone. The work was completed in two days, which was amazig since it was a large two story wall. All of the siding and trim was installed better than the original. He gave me a discount since I provided my scaffolding for him to use. Clean up was excellent. Repair of this leak had eluded other repairmen. Russ fixed it."

He did an excellent job repairing the plaster ceiling and other damage from a water leak. Clean up was done well, even including wiping off my door handles! "We had Jacob's Ladder do 2 different jobs for us, about 4 months apart, and we were beyond pleased with their work both times. Jacob and all of the workers we dealt with were incredibly professional, prompt, knowledgeable, and professional. They worked quickly without cutting corners, and the end products were beautiful, as you can see by the pictures below. In the bathroom, they installed the barn-style wall paneling, the vintage dresser being used as a sink basin, the sink and fixture, the antique mirror, and the light fixture. In the kitchen, they installed the wooden ceiling beams, made repairs to the wall and ceiling, and painted the ceiling (The repair and paint on the ceiling might not show in the pictures as I believe I took them before that part was finished, but rest assured that they did a terrific job.). I absolutely plan on having Jacobs Ladder do more work for us because I know I can trust them to do the job right!"
