"Jorge and his crew did a great job removing an old patio ceiling fan and light fixtures and replacing both and relocating placement of the lights. In addition, they removed two old security systems and installed a new outdoor electrical outlet. They responding to my request for a bid quickly and completed the work within less than a week of my request. I would definitely hire them again."

"He was prompt, knowledgeable, fast and polite. He was very easy to talk to and was not pushy. He did a great job on installing my ceiling fan. A few days later he came back to replace an old smoke detector. I purchased the smoke detector, but it was a wrong one. He went down to Home Depot to exchange it and got a better one. He paid the extra $30 for it, but I paid him back when he got back to the house. Moneywise: The ceiling fan price was great, but the second day price for three small projects was high. Reason being, the day of the ceiling fan install, he said he would stop by on his way home to install the smoke detector. The way he said it I thought he was just doing it as a favor. That he was not going to charge me the service fee. So I was surprised at the amount of the bill. Overall, though, very good company."

"Alset Electric Company is ran by Eddie. Eddie is very professional, efficient and very detailed. In the month of June (2026), I had Eddie to install the RING..I chose the wire RING system with the cameras...Eddie and his crew was very efficient and cleaned the mess afterwards. I had Eddie to I install my address numbers thats lights up at night on my new stone wall for the house. Eddie did an excellent job. My neighbors are still paying me compliments. Here we are in July (2026), my dad asked Eddie to install new water sprinklers for the front yard and backyard. Eddie explained detailed what he done. Eddie is very affordable. If you want very good electrical work, Eddie is the one to call. I have used his services many times now and very satisfied. If you later have questions for any service he had done he will gladly talk to you and stop by if you ask him to."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Grand Terrace, CA

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
