I had to reach out to them to find out they were not coming, despite having texted with them all week regarding colors. The owner, Logan, indicated he would call me back in two hours to reschedule and blew it off. Never answered texts or calls thereafter. I took days off work for the job and moved all furniture to allow space for painting. People are certainly entitled to make mistakes, but the response after the mistake critical. This company seems as thought it is trying to squeeze in as many jobs in as it can and has no regard for its customers. "

"Overpriced! 5 hours spent at our house over 2 days. I didn’t see an itemized list of charges until the receipt after payment. Original estimate was over $2400! I removed items I knew our electrician could do for less. Estimate still $1800, but I thought I’d be happy with the quality. When I received the itemized receipt afterward, I noticed they charged $189 to repair the porch railing. This was minor repair - requiring 1-2 nails in 2 areas total. Buying an air powered nail gun costs less than $189. And they only fixed 1 of the 2 areas, so they didn’t even complete the task. The power washing done before painting the railing was minimal and suboptimal. I immediately contacted Mr. Handyman and was told that my questions would be reviewed. Silence. I’ve had an electrician come to our house- 8 hours of work including the 2 things that I removed from the Handyman list. Their work was more extensive (8 tasks), total charge $650. I’m blown away by how overpriced Mr Handyman is! Beware"

This is the second time they have undertaken a major project at our house; two years earlier they renovated our kitchen and two baths, installed new windows throughout the house, and painted the interior. They and their employees are not only true craftsmen but also genuinely nice people. They arrive on time as promised and work steadily and hard throughout the day--in this case working outdoors all day in the summer heat and humidity. Their prices are not inexpensive but, for us, the confidence we have in the excellent quality of their work and the professionalism of their team members makes the cost well worth it."
