"Ours was a wrought iron fence, not wood but Brian Goodman and Parker Construction and Fence did a FANTASTIC job on our repair. They replaced panels, hauled off the old ones, replaced brackets and painted with Rustoleum where needed Installed new bolts on hinges on gates. Brian came out when he said he would, gave us a bid the next day and started the next week. Completing it quickly and efficiently. Brian did exactly what he said he would and the price was exactly as he quoted. *no money down *satisfaction guaranteed *great communication *5 star rating on Homeadvisor *family owned and operated. Would use Parker Construction and Fence and Brian Goodman for all my fencing needs."

"The project went as planned. The crew arrived Monday, removed the old fence and dug holes for the new fence posts. Tuesday, they set the new posts in concrete. Wednesday, attached the cross members, and Thursday completed the fence. Friday morning finished hanging the very heavy gate and completing the job.
A couple of additional comments:
Blacksmith Fence rebuilt our cedar pool equipment enclosure that was destroyed in a storm for no charge after originally quoting a price in the initial quote. Additionally, they unexpectedly repainted not only the replaced driveway gate post, but the entire gate and existing post on the other side of the driveway at no charge.
Generally, the workers arrived after we left for work in the morning and were gone by the time we returned home in the evening. I considered that a plus as we enjoy our evenings outside.
I originally contacted Blacksmith Fence in April 2012 for a quote. I delayed scheduleing the job until September 2012. During this time, Ty stayed in contact and was prepared to start the job at my convenience.
Very happy with the quality and professionalism. We chose this contractor solely based on the Angie's list reviews. We would use them again.

Update 10/28/2012: If you want a privacy fence, make sure you specify no gaps between slats. After my initial favorable review of my fence, I realized the slats were places 1/4 to 3/8 apart. Not ideal when you want a privacy fence. I realize there are variances in the wood slats, but most of our slats were installed with a very large gap. When dealing with this vendor, make sure the slats are installed tight in the upfront negotiations. This is not something you can fix after the work is done.

"We took three quotes and selected Hardy Fence based upon the materials they quoted and their years in business. The entire project from quote to completion took only 2 weeks. Amazing! Our fence is beautiful and constructed with quality materials. The installation team was great, too."

"I chose Cisco Fences to build my new wooden fence after weeks of research I am extremely happy and proud of my new fence, particularly the gates. Francisco's crew exceeded my expectations on the two gates they built on site. The price was pretty high, but I believe you get what you pay for! *I've had Francisco back to the house twice for minor repairs and his crew has responded quickly and made the adjustments I wanted."

"Began and completed fence on time. Communicated clearly with 2 clients as the project was a shared fenceline. Esthetically beautiful, strong, and sturdy, completed fence and gates. I would definitely use them and recommend them again for other projects. Very pleased from start to finish."

"Scheduled quickly and completed fence demolition and installed new fence the same day, great job, highly recommended"

"The owner, Colton reached out to me immediately and made arrangements to quote the job. This was a small repair job primarily affecting 2 fence panels. While most fence companies (a company I had worked with for 15 years said they would do it but backed out after quoting on the work) have decided to avoid small jobs, Colton was willing to come out and give a quote. After seeing the work, Colton was willing to take on the job and said he'd work me into his schedule over the next week. Within a week Colton arranged to do the work and then came out and completed the work. The work was high quality and satisfied all our needs for this repair. He was great keeping us informed by phone or text, so we didn't have to worry about being forgotten. As opposed to other fence companies, he was willing to quote on the work requested. Other companies wanted to increase the cost (to us) by replacing more fencing that currently did not need to be replaced. I believe Colton realizes that a small job can lead to a large job in the future, I know we certainly will call him when more of our fence needs to be replaced. I highly recommend Colton and Smith Fencing as they do quality work, take the customer needs into consideration and are responsive."

"They did an awesome job, love our new fence."

"Nate and Patrick helped me with my insurance claim. They took care of several things including the roof, gutters, fence, and windows. They communicate very well and clean up well. They made sure all repairs were up to the city of Frisco codes."

"Hired Sergio to repair a wrought iron gate that got messed up during a foundation repair. I asked if he could paint it too. He repaired the gate, took the rust off of it, primed it with rust-proofing and painted it beautifully. I also had them do some minor maintenance on my wood fence. They did an exceptional job. I recommend him highly and will hire him again."
