"We had large remodel project in our home. We submitted a request on Home Advisor looking for plumbing, electrical, etc. We received a call from It's Electric the very next day. Through Matt Gifford, our GC, we used It's Electric and were very pleased with the ease of scheduling, and communication was outstanding. Due to the size of the job, there were multiple visits. Gavin showed up on our first appointment and we were very impressed with his professionalism and great attitude. We specifically requested that he be the electrician that would respond and complete the rest of electrical needs for the remodel. Matt said, absolutely no problem. We've been extremely impressed with It's Electric and highly recommend them."

"I had several loose plugs/outlets in my home. It is an older home, so some electrical updates were needed. Warranty Electric came out and suggested a whole home re-device. They replaced all of the switches, plugs, and outlets in my home and the results are amazing! Everything works as it should and I don't notice burnt or loose plugs anymore. The Warranty Electric crew is awesome, and I recommend them to everyone needing a residential electrician! You can tell they take a lot of pride in their work."

"Lonnie did a great job fixing the electrical service issue to our garage after a storm. We did install 2 home surge protectors and agreed to the yearly membership. I appreciate the professionalism he displayed."

"We needed a very last minute upgrade of our electrical - we purchased a hot tub thinking we just needed electrical run to it and a new outlet installed for it...boy were we wrong. My old house only had a 100 amp panel, so didn't have enough amperage to even run a hot tub. We were quoted an astronomical amount from a larger company locally and wanted a second opinion. Pedro was very knowledgeable and was also able to complete this project for a reasonable price and on our very tight timeline. Thank you!"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Gravette, AR

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
