"Everything I wanted and more! Excellent services were provided by Buddy. I had a very old deck floor removed, very heavy wood. Buddy was pleasant and handled the load, removing every single splinter of wood that had been stacked. I greatly appreciated his work."

"Had to move larger items than usual from my business here, to S. California local. Place I normally used backed out last minute. Scrambling, I found this place. Boy am I glad I did. Completely saved my butt & pricing was way better than those other companies were. Even the one I usually use. They packed up everything for me! I didn't have to do squat. A bonus! Very happy. Will hire in the future."

"Hilton Auto Transport operates like all the other companies. They are brokers that find truckers to move customer’s cars. The trucks are not their employees. The way this industry works is your broker posts the job on an online bulletin board for drivers to see. They take the job if it fits their schedule and meets their financial needs for the trip. The broker is paid their commission and the rest is paid to the trucker directly. Usually bank check or cash upon delivery. We wanted to move a car from the San Francisco area to WV. We had no takers for a week. This was not the fault of Hilton. Truckers seem to be afraid of WV. We changed the destination to a spot in VA that was only 20 minutes away and got an interested trucker the same day. In this industry, you are at the mercy of where drivers are headed. They try to make a load that will be delivered in a cluster for efficiency. You work directly with Nichole and she was good on the phone and tried very hard to find us a truck that would go to WV. We were not in a hurry and we had back and forth emails for a while before we signed up. Once we committed, she was great. Very up front about our particular situation and responded to phone calls. Their commission was reasonable, especially compared to many of the other brokers. The trucker we got turned out to be friendly and very efficient. The entire process was easy once we changed the destination to VA. All in all, we would use Hilton Auto Transport again."

"We were told from the day of the estimate it would be about two weeks. However the contractor had a large job that was taking longer then they expected. So after about a month and a half they called and said they would be out the next day.  <br /> They showed up within reason of the time they said they would. After they cut down the first tree the guys were stuck in my neighbors yard. They made moderate ruts in his yard. But they did attempt to rake the ruts flat. It wasnt super but better then not attempting at all. The larger of the two trees was in the from of the house and it was taken down fairly quick. No more issues from the guys. They left to drop off the wood chipper and to empty the truck. When they came back it took longer to load the truck then it took to cut the tree down. But that was just because the one of the guys was running out of steam. There was about twenty, four foot by two and a half to three foot around logs that weighed a lot that had to be loaded in the truck. I felt bad for the guy on the ground he was wore out when they left.  <br /> Overall the only issue was time frame and the ruts in the neighbors yard. I would definitely use these guys again. We have another tree that is going to need to be trimmed/removed soon. Just need to get a estimate and time frame. This time however they will need to not wait until after/during a rainy few days. <br />"

"I needed to get some furniture cartons from Walmart delivered to my home. Darlene found some guys that actually rented the truck for me, delivered the furniture and set it up, and did it all without me having to do anything else except call Walmart to tell them who was picking up my furniture, and pay the guys when they were done. They even hauled away the cartons. Good job, Darlene! <br />"

FAQs for waste, junk, building materials and debris removal and hauling projects in Green Forest, AR

To throw out stained, broken, or infested mattresses or couches, call a junk hauler or take it to your local landfill yourself. If it’s infested with pests, you might want to call a pest control specialist near you. If you have infested furniture, there's a good chance you have an infested home, too.

Tipping furniture removal services is not mandatory, but it is a thoughtful way to acknowledge their hard work and professionalism. If you're pleased with the service, consider tipping junk haulers 5% to 10% of the total cost or $10 to $20 per worker. This is especially appreciated when the job involves heavy lifting, navigating stairs, or handling bulky items. Tipping not only rewards the workers for a job well done but also fosters a positive working relationship.

If your furniture is in good condition, you have a few options:

  • Donate to charities: Organizations like Goodwill, Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, and GreenDrop often accept furniture donations and may offer free pickup services.

  • List online: You can list your items for free on local online marketplaces or community groups to find someone who needs them. Giving away your furniture not only helps you clear space but also benefits others in your community.

The cost to haul away junk depends on the haul’s size. A single item costs $60 to $150 to haul, with each additional item adding $20 to $40 to the total price. Hauling away a full truckload of trash or other junk will run $400 to $800.

Yes, some furniture retailers will haul away your old furniture when they deliver your new items. This service may be included in your purchase price or offered at a discounted rate. It's important to check with the store to see if they provide furniture removal and whether there are any requirements, such as a minimum purchase. Utilizing this service can save you time and effort in disposing of your old furniture.

In many cases, you can dispose of furniture in a dumpster, but regulations vary by location. Some areas prohibit items like mattresses or upholstered furniture due to environmental concerns. It's best to check with your local waste management authorities or dumpster rental company to understand what's allowed.
