"Everything about this company is AMAZING, from the initial consultation to the final inspection. We interviewed 3 different roofing companies and Raindrop Roofing Northwest provided the most organized & coherent information. No lengthy powerpoint-ish presentation, thankfully. Lee went up onto the roof to inspect & measure. Answered all questions. Gave us an estimate, and couple of day's later we got the formal estimate detailing everything....nails, flashing, underlayment. Also a list of "who's who" in the company with their phone numbers. And an informational sheet explaining the process and "what to expect" during your roofing...it is noisy. On the designated day, a truck arrived into which went all the old roofing materials. Then a truck with a conveyor brought the new roofing materials up onto the roof. Inspection of the existing plywood sheeting, then on went the new underlayment, new shingles, new flashing etc. They were careful about our plants.... made sure our gutters were clean, swept up....perfect!!! The roofing crew is really nice also, by the way."

Filipe showed up in the morning, and said he would do the necessary work right away, as rain was expected again the next day. He replaced missing shingles, and caulked/shingled around two skylights. "Ricardo Gallegos responded quickly to my request to bid on a low slope PVC membrane roof repair. His bid was reasonable and clear, better than several other companies. The Job: My roof was installed incorrectly around the chimney by the original installer which caused the decking underneath to rot out. Ricardo repaired the roof in September 2025 and I am writing this review in December 2025 after several very rainy days and am happy to say the job is holding up very well! It was a very pleasant experience working with Ricardo and United Construction, I highly recommend them!"

"The whole process went great from the bid until they finished.  
Unlike some of the companies we called, they came out to look at the house and gave us a free bid with several options.  We did have to wait about 3 weeks for the work to be done, but that is normal for this time a year.  The workers showed up on time and spent about 7 hours scrapping moss of the roof with small brushes, cleaning the gutters, picking up all the debris and cleaning up our driveway, walkway and deck.  It was raining the day they came out, so they had to come back a few days later to put on the treatment. After putting on the treatment they hosed down our windows, plants, driveway, walkway and deck.  
Everyone we worked with was friendly and professional.  We will call them again when we need our roof or gutters cleaned.

"Rain City Roofers: an honest, straightforward, skilled and reasonable roofing contractor I was entertaining the idea of having a major home improvement entity install a new roof, new screened gutters and new upstairs windows on my 1911 home in inner SE Portland, but the price tag shock (over $30K for those three projects) gave me considerable pause. And this companyâ s sales technique (which I now know is called â price conditioningâ (contractor starts out with what they represent as the average price for the type of project, rather than figuring the time and materials cost and adding a reasonable profit), was a turn-off. Rain City was not the lowest bid I received for the roofing job on our SE Portland home, but I was impressed by the high level of installation quality (e.g., using more nails than the minimum to ensure shingles would not blow off, as well as its use of an attractive and intelligently designed architectural shingle made by Owens Corning, a tried & true company, and also the degree of care that Rain City put into planning and executing the roofing proposal. But what absolutely sold me on Rain City Roofers was its honesty and straightforwardness from start to finish, by each and every person connected with the company, including its knowledgable sales rep Don, the receptionist (Elizabeth), the entire roofing crew that came out, and the owner Jason and his son Austin. I could not be happier with the finished product, and I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend Rain City Roofers to those in the Portland metro area.
