Family owned and operated company with over 40 years of experience. We specialize in all your painting, drywall and wallpaper needs. Blending quality, craftsmanship, and customer care is our specialty. Reach out to me directly at 859-391-9193 to schedule an estimate.

"Quite simply, this was the best contractor we have hired in 35 years of home ownership. We have had some good ones (and bad), but Pat is way above the rest and his price was the most reasonable. I read almost all the reviews and they are all fantastic (not one bad one) and for good reason: Pat and his team are the nicest, friendliest, most conscientious, thorough, laid-back, competent crew I have worked with. Four of them worked for 2 solid days scraping and repairing rotted wood that prior painters glossed over (they were too professional to say this themselves) with NO complaints. And I had to insist that we compensate them properly for all that! Pat is the most honest, knowledgeable, generous contractor I have hired. They may not look like your typical college-aged painters, but don't be fooled - they are a capable and expert team like no other. BTW, they can fix anything - I plan to have them back to seal our brick, fix and paint the deck, do interior work, and my neighbors are having them replace gutters and tuck-point. We are so happy we found them!"

"{Lengthy review but I feel it necessary for everyone to understand the experience we received from Chad. He lied to us, cut corners, and cost me almost $3000.00 to fix his work.} On 12/15/19, I had Chad over to my home to complete an estimate for drywall “finishing” and interior painting of my kitchen and living room (one room/open floor plan). I recently tore down walls in my living room due to having painted over wallpaper that would have been more costly and time consuming to attempt to remove from the drywall. Therefore, I removed the old drywall and decided to start with a clean slate. I rehung new drywall and taped all the seams and corner joints. I put 2-3 layers of compound over all the taped seams except for two inside corner joints as well as a few joints around my bay window. I would rather leave those areas for someone who does it for a living and is better than I am. All I did for those areas was put on a first layer of drywall compound for the tape to adhere to the walls. I also removed chair rail in my kitchen that I requested be mudded over and repainted. Lastly, I removed crown moulding in my kitchen that left a caulk line where the moulding was caulked to the wall. As previously stated, Chad arrived on 12/15/19 and we spoke about the issues I needed taken care of. He looked at my work that I already completed and said that I did good drywall work and jokingly asked, “Why am I here?” I explained that I have experience with drywalling because I redid a separate room in my home and have done it a few times in the past. I told him that my wife wanted the job to be professionally done before Christmas because it is the focal point of our home and we host our family Christmas parties every year. Chad said that he had no problem with the work that we discussed and that he could have the entire job completed in two days (12/23/19 – 12/24/19). Chad gave a verbal estimate before he left of $600.00. I asked that he write the estimate up and e-mail it to me. He agreed and left. That same evening, I received an e-mail from Chad. The e-mail was not an estimate, all it stated was Estimate #146 grand total $600.00. It had a clickable link which took me to another webpage for me to “sign the document.” It did not have any information regarding the work that was agreed upon or a break down of the job to be completed. I have never hired a contractor before so, at the time, this did not raise a red flag to me. Chad arrived on 12/23/19 by himself. I had to work but my wife was able to take the two days off work to stay home so Chad could have access to our home. Chad arrived at approximately 7:45am that morning and started working. Chad explained to me on 12/15/19 that he would use “Durabond” on the areas where the chair rail was removed that needed repaired along with the areas that still had exposed drywall tape on the new drywall. Chad also explained that he would “finish” all the other tape seams by feathering them out and filling all air bubbles. I received a phone call from my wife around 0945 hours and she said that Chad was already gone for the day. I felt this was odd because there were a few tape seams that I knew needed more than one finishing coat of compound on them. That evening I returned home from work and looked at Chad’s work. I was surprised that he left after just two hours and was concerned that the finishing job was not “finished” and ready for paint. There were multiple seams that he did not even touch with Durabond or drywall compound. However, I am not the type of person to question someone’s work halfway through the job, especially with someone who advertises themselves as a professional on a reputable website such as Angie’s List. The next day, Chad arrives at 8:00am. Again, I am at work and my wife is home with Chad. This time, Chad brings his daughter and his brother to assist him. Chad’s brother begins sanding all the drywall compound while his daughter starts cutting in on the entire room with a paint brush. {I have multiple security cameras inside and outside of my home, one of them being in the room where Chad was working, so I was able to verify all this work after I returned home that evening.} Chad checked his brother’s sanding work by running his hand over nearly all the mudding he had done. By 8:30am, Chad starts rolling paint over all the taped seams. After this was completed, Chad began his first coat of paint on the remaining portions of the walls to include the non-primed drywall. After completing the first coat, they went outside and let the paint dry. They came back in shortly after and completed a second coat. The entire job was completed, and they had left before 11:00am that same morning. Chad showed my wife areas that he claimed he could not fix because the wall was uneven and told her to wait 24 hours and let him know if there were any issues that he would need to address. Chad said that he would only charge us $500.00 because it took him less time to complete the job, but the check was already written, and he was able to fit us in his schedule before Christmas, so she was feeling generous. My wife called me after they left with our check for $600.00 and upon further inspection of his work. She said that she did not think I would be happy with the work. I returned home that evening and was appalled at the work that Chad “completed.” I took nearly 40 pictures of separate areas where the drywall mudding appears to have been “slapped on” with a painters knife and was only sanded down enough to remove rough edges. Chad left exposed drywall compound on the walls in our hallway that we both agreed were not going to be worked on. I then reviewed my security camera and found that Chad did not use a primer on the new drywall and drywall compound before painting. Chad texted me at nearly 9:00pm that evening asking if everything looked good. I texted him back and told him that the drywall finishing was not good but I did not want to bother him during the holidays so I said I would call him on 12/26/19. It was apparent by looking at all the issues, that the entire job would have to be redone. The walls would have to be removed and new drywall would need to be rehung because primer was not used. My wife is a realtor and explained that when we sell our home we would have to disclose the fact that Chad did not complete the work correctly and it could cause the paint on the walls to peel, which would devalue our home. I called Chad on 12/26/19 and expressed my concern. Chad lied and said that he used durabond on every single tape seam. I told him that I reviewed my security camera and found that he was lying about that. Also, around my bay window, you can still see drywall tape on three separate tape joints through two coats of paint. Chad also tried to tell me that some paints no longer need a primer on new drywall. I did not disagree with Chad on his statement, however, the paint that he used (which he left us the extra paint) was not a paint and primer all in one and stated on the back of the can “PRIME all DRYWALL and PLASTER with the appropriate primer.” Chad did offer to come out and fix the issues on his own time and costs. I told Chad that I did not wish for him to come back to my house because he cut corners, lied directly to me about work that he claims he did but did not actually do, and the fact that now the entire job must be redone. I explained that there is no way any normal person would look at the work he completed and think it was good work, yet, he and two other people with him all agreed and passed it off as acceptable work. I told Chad that I just wanted my money back for the work. I agreed that Chad did have to pay for materials, and I would not ask for that money back. Chad had to purchase one can of paint, some drywall compound and durabond. Non-contractor price would be no more than $75.00 dollars for what he used in my home, however, I told him that he could keep $100.00. Chad said he would send me a check. On 1/2/20 we received a check from Chad in the amount of $150.00. I sent a text to Chad and told him that I would not be cashing"

FAQs for exterior home or structure paint or stain projects in Hamilton, OH

For aluminum siding, go with a high-quality 100% acrylic exterior paint. Start with an oil-based primer to ensure the finish adheres and shields the metal from oxidation and moisture. The primer seals the surface and provides the acrylic with a surface to grip. Skip latex primers or paints—their reaction with aluminum can trap bubbles and cause early peeling.

How long will painted aluminum siding last?

A well-done paint job on aluminum siding can last around 15 years, making the upfront effort worthwhile. Longevity hinges on solid prep: thoroughly cleaning the surface to remove chalky residue, dirt, and mildew so the new paint can adhere properly. It’s also important to paint when temperatures are between 50°F and 80°F, as extreme heat or cold can affect drying and adhesion. Steer clear of rainy days—moisture under the paint weakens adhesion and speeds up peeling or fading, which can significantly shorten the lifespan of your fresh coat.

Plan on repainting when the finish starts fading or leaves a chalky, white residue on your hand. Check the siding each year; if there’s a powdery residue on your palm, it indicates oxidation is underway on your siding. A fresh coat of paint stops peeling before it starts, boosts curb appeal, and keeps the metal protected.

Spray painting aluminum siding offers significant benefits compared to other application styles. Spray painting delivers even coverage, rapid application, and enhanced adhesion compared to traditional painting methods. This technique ensures every surface is evenly coated, minimizes labor time, and provides a sleek, professional finish that withstands weather and oxidation for lasting results.

The return on investment for aluminum siding is 70%. For example, a $10,000 aluminum siding installation will add $7,000 to your home’s resale value. Regional housing markets, the quality of siding materials, and ongoing upkeep—including repainting and repairs—influence final ROI. Investing in professional installation and regular maintenance ensures you recoup a significant portion of your siding costs when it’s time to sell.

Several materials can replace aluminum siding, each offering unique trade-offs. Vinyl siding requires minimal upkeep and resists fading, lasting up to 30 years. Wood siding provides classic warmth but demands regular painting or sealing. Fiber cement and composite siding offer exceptional durability and design flexibility, requiring minimal maintenance. Brick veneer and stucco create premium, long-lasting exteriors, but they come with higher upfront costs and increased installation complexity.
