I would hire him again if I had need of masonry work. He was responsive to a change in the plans to allow us to add a bronze placard on the side of the mailbox. "We first thought we had foundation issues when we noticed stair-step cracking along the front (both right and left sides) of our garage brick veneer. After a foundation company did some digging we came to realize the foundation was good, however the original builder had done us a disservice by not laying the brick on a proper cement block/base or using proper brick ties. Isabel came within 2 hours of contacting him to see if he could help our situation. Over time the brick had dropped and separated from the wall itself and was, in time, going to simply fall. He suggested to properly repair all the damage (it was fairly extensive on both sides of the front wall) he would have to demo the entire wall up to the gable and start over with a proper base for the brick. He would dig to see if there were proper footers/a base for the brick to start stacking, possibly pour a proper concrete support, rebuild the wall - matching the existing brick, and repair our concrete walkway that was partially pulled up by the foundation company upon their investigation. We met with Isabel and Revis on Tuesday, the following day a crew showed up first thing in the morning and the job was done by the end of the week. They addressed every concern we had along the way. The crew was even able to save all the existing trim and most materials to save on cost. Overall we are VERY pleased with the quality work that was done as well as how quickly they were able to start/finish the job! And, his bid was FAR less than 2 others we received as well :) <br />"

"Rod Layman and his crew just completed three Kentucky Limestone flower -beds for my my home. I am very pleased with the workmanship. We used his services a few years ago for the garden in the front yard, and now just completed the back. I called around and had several estimates placed. Although he was not the cheapest, his price was very competitive and we knew the work would be done right. Rod finished before the agreed date and the cleanup was amazing. His crew was very polite and punctual. I would recommend his services to anyone who is looking to make home improvements."

"He stayed on his scheduled time table and did all the work he said.  The only issue is we wish we had taken before and after pictures to share with everyone.  The floor finish he removed was unsafe to walk on especially in wet/damp/ or icy conditions. It was very slick when wet however it was approximately 8 years old.  The old epoxy was peeling up and the cracks in the cement were getting worse. <br /> Our new floor is amazing.  It is suppose to last 20 years. We will see how it holds up. This floor is in our attached garage and gets used daily with cars parked in the garage and for parties. <br />"

". Mike started out like a ball of fire. He was always telling what he was going to do and didn't do it. He over promised and under delivered. Now a year later a large area has settled in the patio at a low point where a drain should have been placed as per our conversation. He is aware of the problem and refuses to even look at it. I have offered to pay him to repair his work and he ignores the issue. He is clearly ALL SMOKE AND NO FIRE. <br /> Nice guy but cannot back up his work up. <br />"

"Warmzone has been very responsive. However, the installers made mistakes installing the system and when they went to correct it, somehow caused damage that made the system inoperable. They had to come back a year later and redo it. Now it works pretty good. Every time I've had questions Warmzone has been very responsive. i would use them again--but use their recommended installers and not my contractors who did it last time. <br /> One caveat: The system doesn't always work perfectly in very cold weather with fast accumulating snow. We have old-fashioned clay brick pavers. Next time I'll send Warmzone a sample of the pavers so that they can test for the power needed to operate the system effectively. <br /> But--they sell a great product and they're very helpful to deal with. They'll get right on the phone with you and troubleshoot, even long after the sale. <br />"
