He did not charge me for that assessment and his time attempting to repair as many other companies would have. He got me a quote to replace, far lower than quotes from other companies, Home Depot, couple other companies etc. He did an amazing job and couldn’t be happier. "Jay was able to fix a cabinet door hinge that we thought was unfixable. We'd tried to fix it ourselves but couldn't find a matching hinge, even looking for one at cabinetparts.com. It took him a few hours and a trip to the hinge wholesaler to get a replacement for the hinges which are no longer made, but the door is perfect now. I'm pretty sure there are very few people with this type of expertise in Portland, so if you've got a tricky issue, his many years of experience will definitely serve to your advantage.
