"Jackson contracting was thorough in their explanation to me of the scope of the work required and the problems with my roof. I had several contractors try to fix the leak, but none were successful. After my new roof, there was a small problem, but they fixed it with no questions asked and no hassles. They even checked back with me to make sure that everything was going well. They were committed to making sure that I was satisfied and that the work was done well. I would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to others."

"Robert Helms owner of R&R responded promptly to phonecall & was able to arrange a date within 1 week to meet with me to discuss roof tile concerns & provide thorough inspection. Robert is consummate professional - paying close attention to details, concerns & hands on examination of roof. I was impressed w/ his questions re. History of roof repairs & past issues taking in whole picture of status of roof. As long time home owners of older homes we realize the value of maintenance for prevention & repairs as needed for long term stability of a home as well as lowering risk for problems later on . That said - there have been many occasions where a contractor cut corners or didn't relate essential info only to have problems down the road . Most appreciative Robert noted we had no drip edges on garage ( no wonder we had recent wood damage / rot after last roofers work) and suggested installment. He also problem solved how our painters could get up to 3 rd level dormer assuring their & the roof tile safety. "What has impressed me most about RE-Construction is the women that work there. Every transaction and conversation that I experienced with the office was made pleasant with kindness and knowledgeable understanding of the roofing process. I heard about RE-Construction when a young salesperson came to my door. That was fortuitous since I knew that my house urgently needed a new roof. An appointment was set and verified over the phone with the office at RE-Construction for an estimate. Once we had the estimate RE-Construction was helpful with the process of filing an insurance claim to get the roof put on. The team of roofers were very efficient and used a gentle touch on my historically old house. They were led by a woman, which left me feeling great, because her influence of care and attention was palpable during the entire process. She led from the ground and fed the shingle packets up to the roofers using an electronic lift that was attached to a ladder. I liked the sound of it. It was amazing to watch the machine zip! It was very efficient. I felt safe and sound while the roof was put on and afterwards the team did a fine job of cleaning up. They left their trailer overnight, since they finished the roof at sunset, and returned for it in the morning to double check on the cleaning up and to gather all of their equipment. Every step of the way Re-Construction took care with my case and improved my home with a new roof. I have since, through the mail, received a warranty for the new roof, a thank you card, and a birthday card. What a great touch! I recommend Re-Construction as a solid and good place to get a roof put on with care."

"We were impressed with the workmanship.  We were even more impressed with the fact that he didn't ask for any payment until AFTER the project was completed.  Today we hired him to do a roofing job on a house and we are hoping that the quality on that project will be as good as this job was.  He is requesting 1/2 down for the house roofing project in advance, but that is perfectly understandable given the fact that he must purchase a sizeable quantity of materials. <br />"

"I'll be as honest as I can with this review. I thought they did a good job of handling the installation. I did notice some dirt still present in our garage and I had to sweep it up, but they appeared to have done a solid job. <br /> What I find a bit unusual is cleaning their equipment with our water hose. The guy didn't even ask if he could use our faucet. <br /> That was a bit weird to me. Do they not have the ability to stop by a car wash and use those services instead? Anyway that is me just being a bit nit picky in regards to being considerate of your surroundings and I just found it odd to take the time to wash their equipment with our water hose. We did not question them on it at the time it occurred. <br /> What they need to work on is their customer service within the office headquarters. That can be improved on. A girl that works in the office lacks those skills or perhaps she was having a bad day. <br /> I struggled with rating their price as an and quot;Aand quot;. My reason is because, we found other shelters from other companies at a lower rate or that they were bigger in size. But one thing compared to the other companies is that they use a cement truck and the encasing is all concrete - no dirt. So perhaps that is why the price was $2800 and you are NOT asked to put down a deposit which is a plus. Companies who require a deposit in my mind is a bit silly. <br /> What I have detailed above are not dealbreakers to us in that the bottom line is: did they get the job done? In this day and age, it is tough to find a company that does everything from Point A to Point B 100%. In fact, I think it does not exist. But you have to choose your battles and look at the overall body of work. Therefore, I would recommend them to anyone who would want their use services. <br />"

"Mr. Plen Smith was very professional and prompt at getting us a proposal for our new roof.  He was very knowledgeable about the products and about the quality of the crews work.  He guaranteed that the men would take extra special efforts to protect my plants and garden beds surrounding the house.  The crew showed up on time and in full force.  I didn't expect such a large crew.  There were at least twelve men on the job. The Foreman  and crew were very kind and helpful when it came to my comfort level of transitioning inside and outside the home. Mr. Smith had estimated that it would take the crew two or three days to complete the job, depending on weather conditions.  They put up plywood all around the front of the house to protect the windows and gardens.  They were able to remove the old shingles and install the new shingles to the front of the house in one day.  This was very impressive considering our roof is close to 3000 sq. ft.  They had crew working on top and several crew members working the grounds to pick up and clean up as they went along. The foreman explained that they would do the work in two parts to make sure our home was covered because of rain coming the next day.  We had one day of rain and by the next day all was dry and work proceeded.  The end of the second day of work revealed a completed new roof.  The crew were very respectful about our property and cleaned up very well.  The other nice benefit was that they all spoke English.  Mr. Smith explained from the beginning that they are a certified GAF installer and that this was important in guaranteeing that our roof warranty was fully covered by GAF for 50 years. The proposal that was written up was very detailed and provided us with all information needed to make the best choice on our new roof.  They provided proof of liability and workers compensation insurance.  They also have a 5yr workmanship warranty separate from material warranty.  Mr. Smith did explain that normally we would have only one crew working on our roof, but they had two crews available and wanted to use them to complete our home in a timely manner.  We couldn't have asked for a better company to do the work.  They were professional, courteous, and proficient.  We highly recommend them to anyone needing roofing work. <br />"
