"To begin with the salesman told us most of the work would be done outside. Also the molding did not have to be removed. This was all wrong information. They did most of the work indoors. They did not put anything down on my runner or my wood floor. My runner and floors had to be steam cleaned. They destroyed the molding around the windows. The caulking is horrible. They were supposed to send us a survey. It was never sent to us because they knew we were not happy. No one from the company contacted us to see how things went. We have to call a finish contractor to replace the molding. This is not acceptable. I do not recommend this company. "

The contractor was very polite and capable and the door looks great and he cleaned up the area nicely when the job was done. I knocked one star off of my 'customer service' rating for the following reasons: First, he asked me if I had any caulk he could use (which I did, and which I offered him, but I think this should have been HIS responsibility, since it's something that a contractor should expect to bring with him to do the job, not something that you need to rely on the customer to supply (unlike the actual door, for example). Secondly, he asked if I had a caulk gun that he could use (which I did, but again, shouldn't the contractor be expected to bring caulk and a caulk gun to a job site where he knows he will need it?). And thirdly, he asked if I had a hacksaw that he could use to cut the molding (which I did, and which which I offered to him, but again . . . .). In any case, I am delighted with the work that was done."
