"Since I had already repaired the belt of my electric dryer, I called the appliance repairman whom I had found through Angie's List. He said it probably was NOT the dryer and suggested I call an electrician, but didn't have an electrician to recommend.I called the owner, Ramiro Ramirez, at the recommendation of an electrical supply company from whom I'd bought two large, unusual batteries. He gave me an estimate over the phone of $75. I also called a friend and someone else on Angie's list, but their estimates were higher. <br /> After I had decided to try Ramiro (Pro-Grade Electric LLC), I called him back and set up an appointment. He called a few minutes before showing up, checked the circuit breaker box and determined the cause of the problem. He said he'd need a new plug and I gave him my Home Depot card to use up. The whole job took about an hour and he was polite, clean and seemed very knowlegedable, showing me the burned out parts of the plug and wire. The whole job saved me at least $20 over the next higher estimate. <br /> Ramiro Ramirex has only been in business himself for two years, but he's so professional and polite that he's going to go far, unless he goes to college for an engineering degree!"

"<p>In an attempt to make the home we purchased more to our style we purchased new lights and fans and some timers for lights.  Being new to this area we asked our neighbor if they knew a good electrician to refer.  Thankfully she did and gave us Conductive's number.  The pendants I picked where not the easiest to hang and required more support  and a trip to the hardware store for more parts...But the gentlemen were very detailed oriented and made sure they were hung perfectly. They installed a ceiling fan, a ceiling mount light and 4 timers.  I will be phoning them to come back to install the others replacement lights when I purchase them.  I would HIGHLY recommend this company!</p>"

"Juan Carlos was a pleasure to deal with, and it was great to be taken seriously for a job this small.  In the previous 10 months I met with a few others for this work: One was clearly not interested, one was way overpriced, another signed a contract with me and then blew it off completely and vanished. <br /> Carlos and his guys did a first-class job on this.  I was home during the whole process and watched on and off what they were doing, mostly because at one point I was going to attempt it myself and I was curious as to how to go about it.  I can say they appeared to be every bit as meticulous as I would be. <br /> Raised all the flagstones such that they're now flush with the timbers around the perimeter (they were all an inch or so below originally, except for the parts that had sunk, which were approaching three inches below) and replaced the rotted-out section of those timbers.  Added polymeric sand in the spaces between, sort of like outdoor epoxy grout. <br /> It'd be great if everyone did what they do this well. <br />"

"<p>CDS has a listing of their prices on their web page so I had an idea of what to expect.  However, the light fixture I wanted installed is in a two story foyer and so I requested someone to come out and give me a quote.  Derek showed up on the given day and time  and said it shouldn't be a problem to reach the light fixture with a 14 ft ladder... the other option and more expensive would have been to use scaffolding.  I was given a quote and a few days later I scheduled the install.  The crew of two men, professional, pleasant and polite showed up on the appointed day and time.  The were able to maneuver the very large ladder in the small foyer taking care not to hit anything.  I was very pleased with their work.  </p> I mentioned to my wife, although we don't use the services of an electrician often, I think we just found one to use for any of our future electrical needs. <br />"
