"This company was beyond great!! They were professional, there were prompt, they delivered more than they promised. They install a double swing french gate and sodded and landscaped surrounding area. To say I was pleased is an understatement. It is absolutely beautiful!!"

"McInville Landscaping did an exceptional job trimming my bushes, cleaning out my flower bed, and putting out fresh new pine straw. Bryson asked questions to ensure he was doing exactly what I wanted and didn?t leave until the job was finished. I will be using him again and would recommend him to anyone that needed any type of lawn care services."

"John and his wife Machelle were fantastic on their response to us and up front with the estimate to complete the system. They gave us a date and time and were there when they said they would be there, no waiting around for them. Best response from a contractor we've had since living in Sumter. John showed us where he could put the sprinkler heads to provide the yard the best coverage and was very attentative in making sure his crew knew where electrical lines and pipes were located for our pool to prevent any damage. After the system was installed, we found a different line leaking and John was very responsive in getting out to the house to check it and determine it was from a previous zone we did not plan to use and he disconnected the timer from that zone. I plan to use them again in the fall when we redo our front flower beds! <br />"

"Excellent from the first planning phase all the way through to the finish. Gasque Metal Works took pride in their work which is a rarity these days. The job was done with careful precision which shows. The fire pit was constructed to last for many years and we couldn't be more happy with it. We will most certainly be calling Gasque Metal Works again for our future needs. They are professional, courteous, very thoughtful and trustworthy. The job was done right, promptly, and thoroughly."

"First of all, Corey contacted me the same day I messaged him via Angie's List. Very punctual! :-) He was able to make it by my house 2 days later and called ahead to make sure I was available. He quickly identified the problem and suggested he just cap off the broken sprayer since the shrubs were now full grown (overgrown) anyways. He also pointed out a fungus that had damaged some of the bushes around our house. He offered to treat them as well as gave us an affordable bid to keep the bushes trimmed year-round. As it turned out we called him for irrigation work but he will be returning to do landscaping for us as well! Thanks for the outstanding service, Corey! <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Hartsville, SC

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
