"I contacted Tom Welch of A Watertight Foundation for water intrusion into our basement from large cracks in the bulkhead stairway and foundation cracks in the basement wall. These conditions had been repaired by previous home owners. Every time it rained, or after snow melt, the bulkhead cracks caused water to cascade over the basement door threshold and create large pools of water in the basement, making the area unusable. When Tom and I spoke, he was quite honest: attempting to re-repair the bulkhead stairway cracks might not be successful. He was concerned he might introduce other problems with an attempted repair. Instead, Tom proposed to create a relatively thin and shallow trench in the basement floor in front of the door. This narrow trench channels and collects the water into a small "well" where a small self-contained, maintenance-free pump sits and pushes water out through a hose into an existing drain pipe. Tom's simple, elegant solution took care of the water problem at a fraction of the cost of other companies' quotes with minimal modification to our home. Tom completed the job (including clean-up) in just a few hours and later returned to repair the foundation wall cracks. Several heavy rainstorms later, I'm happy to report we have a dry basement. I highly recommend Tom Welch and would not hesitate to call on him in the future. I found Tom to be honest, dependable, prompt, and experienced. He offered a solution but listens to a homeowner's suggestions and concerns. For Tom, the job is not complete until the customer is satisfied."

The rep who came on-site to provide a quote was available for all my questions until I made the decision to move forward with Walterâ s . I had to make adjustments to the install timing and they were very cooperative about that. "Warren Sawyer and his crew are not just professional and competent landscapers - they are also artists. After first removing several large tree stumps, they graded the property, installed drainage pipes and granite steps.  Working with the terrain, they sculpted our land to create a terraced pathway with stone steps that blend naturally into the look of our property. Additionally, they created beautiful curved planting beds, a bluestone patio and walkway areas with organic shapes, and seeded the lawn.  After our initial meeting with Warren, he returned with a preliminary plan.  During all meetings and discussions about the plan and the work, he thoughtfully listened to us and provided guidance and expertise in a collaborative manner that facilitated a very pleasing end result.  He and his team always answered our many questions in a professional manner, educating us about our various options. Warren presented a clearly written statement of work so that all parties knew what was included in the job. We (not Adams Landscaping) had some timing/logistical issues which required some of the work to be done in phases, and they worked with us and our schedule to complete the items as agreed. At our initial meeting, we had asked if our yard could be saved.  We can enthusiastically say that it has been and we are enjoying our new and very improved professionally and artistically landscaped property. "I have nothing but good things to say about Foxwood masonry .Josh and his team are great at what they do. I hired them to repair a retaining wall behind my house in 2021. It was a time sensitive project and Josh was able to schedule the work quickly and charged us a reasonable price for the work. The entire crew was very skilled, they worked quickly, and left the site clean afterwards. They also have amazing attention to detail and the retaining wall has remained in great condition over the last 3 years. "We had a failed CIPP restoration over the 2013 Thanksgiving Holiday that turned into an emergency sewer line replacement/excavation. Bill Rodenhiser left a landscaping job he was working on to help us out. He and his crew began working late in the day and the excavation continued until midnight. He was on the job the entire time and rectified a particularly bad situation. Bill and his men are reliable and professional. He says what he will do and he will deliver. He even set up a temporary dog enclosure for our Lab as our fence had to come down during the excavation and can't be restored until spring. We recommend him without reservation. Thanks again, Bill.
