"A&D replaced our parent's aged roof. Darek came a good distance to provide a free estimate. He explained thoroughly the work that his company would complete, as well as why it needed to be done. He offered material options and encouraged us to seek additional estimates for comparison purposes. A&D was extremely responsive with followup communication. When reaching out with questions, their response time to our inquiries was extremely fast. A&D followed through on all of their promises. A large work crew showed up on time and completed a complete tear off, down to the rafters, installed sheathing, ice & water shield (72 in.), all underlayments and shingles. They were done with the job, in it's entirety, by 5:00 p.m. Darek and Maciej spent several hours at our house, overseeing and working alongside the crew. They met all terms of the agreement and went above and beyond - sealing gutter end caps that were leaking and installing attic baffles, without asking for additional compensation. Afterwards, the crew spent time cleaning up the perimeter of our home, leaving no material wrappings or nails on the ground. Darek visited our parents' home the day after the roofing work, to ask if we had any questions and if we were pleased. He encouraged us to call A&D's office we had any issues with the roof moving forward. A&D Home Improvement is a company with the highest level of integrity. "Simply put, you will NOT find a better, more honest, more helpful, more easy-to-work-with, reasonably priced contractor than John Lee and his crew at J & K Home Improvement & Restoration! We had a "complicated" set of circumstances when our home was damaged by a storm, last winter. The insurance company sent out an estimator to assess the damage and, after the company recommended J & K Home Improvement & Restoration, I was introduced to John Lee. I eventually learned that John also does estimates for a variety of insurance companies (because his company is so well regarded), and he patiently listened as I described the nuances associated with our house. During our initial consultation, he was able to clearly describe all of the steps that would be necessary and answer all of our questions. Long story short, not only was John able to address EVERY single concern and request that we had regarding the eventual repairs to the house (including roof, siding, and a window upgrade that would have cost much more if we had done it at a later time), but he spent plenty of extra time making sure that everything we had talked about was addressed to our 100% satisfaction! He was also able to persuade the insurance company to cover more complete repairs than was originally specified by the first adjuster! In addition, when we had an electrical "hiccup" associated with all the pounding on the walls, John quickly sent an expert electrician to locate and correct the problem. He absolutely could have passed those charges on to us because the failure wasn't due to any mistake on the part of his crew but, instead, he picked up the unanticipated expense himself. It was truly a pleasure to work with John! He made a difficult situation as easy to manage as possible, and we would strongly recommend J & K Home Improvement & Restoration to anyone who wants to hire a quality contractor that stands behind their work and well-earned reputation!"
