"The overall process went very well. Michael came out to my condo several times. He's very professional and he dealt with my annoying property manager very well. I was impressed Michael was able to come out in the evening so i didn't have to take off from work to look at samples and discuss the project. He even left a window with my property manager for a few days to examine! All the visits and installers came on time which in my experience is never the case. In fact the installers came early! They were very quick, they did 9 windows in a little over 3 hours. I must say these windows are the best looking windows and cheapest out of all 5 other quotes i got. I opted for the brushed nickel hardware upgrade. They look slick! There was a period of time where communication was great but there was a reason for that and it's not common. Also when i was attaching blinds after the install, i noticed window coming through the top of one of the windows. I contacted Acorn and Michael came back out and fixed the issues. He then inspected all the windows inside and out and answered all my annoying questions. During his inspection he noticed one window was missing a clip to tilt it. He came again and installed that. I honestly didn't even notice the clip, so that shows he was really inspecting and put pride his the quality of his work. Overall i'm very pleased, the difference from my original 1987 single pane windows and these new ones is night and day!"

"The installation process went as planned. After the insulation, I expected a follow up to see how things went. After all, that's what happened after they did my window installation. No follow up took place. I gave it a few weeks to see if they would call or come by to see. After waiting I placed a call to address my concerns. The roof installation went fine, but they left debris on the brand new windows they installed along with splashing some black substance on my siding. I guess they expected the rain to wash it all away. They also left large piece of wood in my drive way and nails in my driveway and around my house. I was assured that someone would call me back since the members of the team handling my account was in a meeting. It is now been a week and no call back. That must be a heck of a meeting."

"It went better than I expected! Sky Tech was recommended to us by our realtor who just had her roof replaced. I dealt with Blanca via e-mail when setting up appointments to get quoted and replace our roof, she was very helpful, polite, and responsive. Dave, the owner, came out to inspect our roof on a Saturday and sent me a quote on Monday. The quote was very detailed and extremely reasonably priced. I signed the quote, sent a check for half the quoted amount, and picked our shingle color. We were scheduled for the following Thursday. A pallet of supplies and materials were delivered two days prior. The Sky Tech crew arrived around 7:45 am and were finished with the job by 12 noon. They threw a netted tarp type of material around the entire house to catch all of the old roof shingles and other materials. Some guys were on the roof putting the new roof in place and some guys were on the ground cleaning up any materials that may have missed the tarp. Before leaving, they combed the perimeter of the house with a magnetic tool to pick up any nails or other metal objects. Dave, came by around 3:30 pm to inspect the completed job, take back any leftover roofing materials, and do a final scan of the property for any missed roof pieces or metal objects. He even nailed part of our soffit that had a little sag as well as removed a broken de-icer that was stuffed into the gutters from the previous home owners. Due to the structure of our house and property, we don't have the best vantage points to see our roof. I have attached a photo though of the new roof, best shot and angle I could get. I would and will definitely recommend Sky Tech for any roofing needs, as well as any other siding, window, or deck needs. I will definitely go to Sky Tech in 20-25 years when our roof needs to be replaced and when we decide to reside our house."
