"C & C Yard Care did our neighborhood the year before but my first concern is that C & C Yard Care didn't address everything on the bid sheet. He didn't address cleaning the ponds. He didn't even ask how to maintain it. He already figured he knew what he was doing and his bid came back the same as usual but it was only for half the work. "

"We have been using Spokane Pro Care since 2013 and had been very pleased with their work initially. Their price was very competitive, especially considering the fact we live a bit out of town which involved some extra travel for them. <br /> However, this year their attention to detail has suffered greatly. There was much damage done by whoever used the weed whacker to some of our trees and the pad that holds our heat exchanger. One leg of the heat exchanger has been nearly cut off. <br /> In addition to the weed whacker, some areas of grass along our hills edges have been buzzed and cut too close as well as a buzzed ring around another large tree in the center of our driveway island. <br /> And finally, we have had to replace the same sprinkler head three times, not because it sticks up too high and the mower blades are hitting it, but because they are running over it with the tires of the heavy mower. I had to put a little flag out there to keep them from hitting it.  Simply moving over 2 inches would have avoided this problem. <br /> We had one of their reps stop by so we could show him the damage and he said he'd address the problems with his workers. The following week even more damage was done so we finally had to cancel their services. I emailed and sent photos of the damage to Spokane Pro Care and did not hear back from them with any desire to correct, replace or apologize for anything. It was very disappointing. <br />   <br />"

The owner of GrassRoots came over and spent a lot of time explaining the state of our yard, especially the right-of-ways which hadn't been mowed appropriately in a long time. "Marnie came out in late November and gave us a competitive price on a very complete scope of work including removing all wood and debris. Much of the tree was hanging over our neighbor's house and we were very concerned, as was our neighbor, that limbs would break and fall onto our neighbor's house under a winter snow load or heavy winds . We chose to have the tree completely removed rather than simply pruning it. The first date scheduled for having the tree cut down had to be canceled and rescheduled due to a sudden circumstance leaving the scheduled crew short-handed. Grant DeVore called me to tell me and explain. While disappointed, crew safety is paramount to me and I didn't want anything less than a full crew on our property cutting our tree and was re-assured that American Arborists felt the same way. On the re-scheduled day for cutting the tree down (December 29, 2016) the crew of Rick, Devin and Robert showed up within the ETA time-frame given and went right to work. They were polite, professional, they worked well together, they communicated well, and they worked safely. They took great care to cut the tree down without damage to our property or our neighbor's. They safely applied a commonly available consumer-grade herbicide to the stump and then scheduled the stump grinding for 4 weeks out on the calendar. Brian came out on January 17, as scheduled, to grind our very large stump with a stump grinder. Brian cleaned up all of the excess chips and debris. Brian was polite, professional, thorough and conscientious. I was very happy with the work American Arborists did for us and won't hesitate to call them again."
