"Highly recommended roofing company! As a first-time homeowner and after hearing some horror stories from friends and family concerning home improvement contractors, I was a bit apprehensive when going through the estimate process. Some contractors 'yes' you to death, try to upsell and then after the work is done, you'll never see them again. Also, sometimes with estimates you are dealing with a salesman not the folks who are actually doing the work. Not true with ABJ! After getting 3 estimates from different companies, Oscar from ABJ came promptly and on time. He calmly walked me through the process, explained the work they were going to do and presented the estimate. No sell pressure what-so-ever and best of all the estimate was thousands below all the others. After agreeing to the terms and selecting shingle type and color, work began right away. Oscar was on-site the whole time with his crew working quickly and efficiently. Work took less than two days and clean up was spotless. The roof looked great, and they even shingled my well house without me asking. (nice touch!) They gave me the left-over new shingles to keep for warranty purposes and to replace any future damaged shingles. Fast forward to ten months later.. After a very hot summer, one of the shingles appeared to bubble up. I gave Oscar a call to discuss why that might happen and he came the next day with his crew to fix the issue. No haggle, no missed calls, just came and fixed the issue no questions asked. I don't normally write reviews, but I feel good companies should really get recognition when they do it right! ABJ is one of those companies which stand by their work, are easy to work with and go the extra mile. Other companies should take note!"

"Communications and scheduling were awful. Took forever and 7 calls to actually get them to send the quote. When I call they say Jorge will call back, he doesn't. Call him, and his voicemailbox is always full. Three times the roofers were scheduled to come and they never showed up, never called. Really regret using them. When the roofer finally showed up, he was a sub contractor that didn't really know what he was supposed to do. Felt bad for him, he had to bring his little boy who just wandered around my back yard while he worked on my roof. The actual work seems fine, it's the whole process of working with them that is awful. Can't figure out who they actually are, Findlay Roofing, Roof Roof, Mighty Dog Roofing? That was probably my first warning flag."

"Avoid this business. They have terrible follow-up, customer service, and owners. They are very unprofessional, insulting and condescending. They care only about getting their money. As examples, I asked them what they would do about my gutter guards 5 weeks before they were supposed to replace my roof, and they didn't respond. Then the week they were supposed to do the work they sent a document that said they aren't responsible for removing, reinstalling or replacing gutter guards with the disclaimer of course that they wouldn't be responsible for any damage. Their document also wanted me to inform them of any concerns in writing, before they did their work, I did. One thing I told them is that I have new grass in part of my lawn and also told them that they can access my entire house and yard, without walking on that area. Their response was: If the ground is soft and 10 people walk on it over one day it can get damaged. Their reply also insulted me by twice saying "It is really just common sense..." I told them to stay off of an area and they could get everywhere without walking on it, and rather than say "OK, we will certainly avoid it if we can, thanks for letting us know." they said what I posted above. One of the owners then called me and again was insulting. I reiterated the above, letting him know I was just doing what their document told me, and he said "Yep, that is just common sense" and started just saying "Sensitive people..." as if I was being an idiot. I say: don't walk on this area of my lawn and He says: if people walk on it it will get damages, that's just common sense. And of course he then let me know that they'd be billing me for 10% of the total cost (which I figured, because it is in the signed proposal) and if I didn't, they'd turn me over to collections. I asked why they didn't get back to me about my gutter guards when I asked. He deflected that and said something non-sensical. Avoid them at all costs. I will pay the 10% and sleep better knowing I don't have an uncaring, unprofessional company working on my house. If I could leave a ZERO start review, I would."

"We've had so many bad experience with contractors in the past and I was just tired of it. We needed to replace our roof and it was just another contractor we had to find. We were referred by a friend to Roofstruction. We did get a few quotes from other roofers before Travis came over to take a look. He was the ONLY roofer who actually got up on the roof and showed us places that needed to be fixed right away. We knew just from talking to them that they were the right ones for the job. I explained that I owned a business as well and that I felt like the construction business was full of people who don't care about their customers like I do with mine. Travis agreed and told us that they were glad to lose money if it mean giving us good customer service.This is what ultimately drew us to Roofstruction. Honestly, our roof job turned out to be more than I'm sure they wanted to deal with and they lived up to what they said. I think any business can get a 5 star rating when a customer is easy, the insurance pays and everything goes right. The real 5 star businesses should be measured by the way they handle it when it goes wrong. First off, the guys at Roofstruction literally pulled our old roof off and put the new one on in 5.5 hours. It was unreal to watch them work. We live in a 3000 sqft. home so it's not like it was a tiny roof. Our neighbor was amazed that they finished so quickly, as were we. That part was pretty much perfect and looks amazing. Here's where Roofstruction set themselves apart though. We have a faux balcony over our porch and it was done wrong by a subcontractor. Instead of saying, sorry, that's not our problem anymore (like we have found most contractors would). Travis ripped off the whole porch (which needed to be done) and redid it from scratch. It looks amazing now and I know they lost money on this job. Yet they did it anyway. Thank you Travis and team. We know that this wasn't the easiest job and we're thankful for your hard work on it. We hated that our job wasn't the easiest to deal with but glad that we FINALLY hired a good company. If you're looking for a roofing company. Use Roofstruction. They are different from the rest."
