"We recently moved into a house that was previously inhabited by tenants who did not maintain the front and back lawns. The property was covered in dandelions mixed with other weeds. <br /> TruGreen was recommended to us by the company that performed irrigation repair and tree trimming on our property, and as it seemed that TruGreen received good reviews on Angie's List as well, when a TruGreen representative showed up at our door to offer services, we jumped at the chance. Jim, the sales representative we dealt with was very professional, courteous, and pleasant. We signed the agreement for annual maintenance and were supposed to be contacted by someone from TruGreen office within a couple of days who would collect payment and schedule the first service visit. As nobody called us back for a whole week, we attempted to contact TruGreen office ourselves without any success. After two weeks and another call stating we were not happy about not being contacted in a timely manner, a person from the office finally called, took our payment information, and scheduled a service visit for the following day. <br /> The technician who came out to perform the first treatment was very professional and pleasant. He completed work quickly, and we can already notice the dandelions wilting (it's been 1 day since the service was performed). <br /> The cost of annual maintenance before prepayment discount is quite a bit more than what we were used to in Kansas where we moved from, although our yard here is smaller than what we had in Kansas. However, as there is not much competition in this field here in Rapid City and weeds need to be kept in check, we will probably go with the same company for these services the following year as well. <br />"

"They arrived shortly after 7AM and promptly went to work.  They worked straight through and finished up about 2PM.  I just had facial surgery and was not able to go in the crawlspace.  They  showed pictures of the work in the crawl space.  We walked around the house as they explained everything they did.  I was impressed, they used a mini-excavator to do the dirt work and even with a water soaked lawn, there was only a minimal footprint.  The workers were very professional, kind and courteous. <br />"
