"I obtained 3 estimates to replace multiple broken and dislodged tiles on my roof and fix the underlying material. 1 general contractor and 1 other roofing company. T&G came in below the other roofing company by a considerable amount and only slightly above the GC. They provided very clear estimate documents and despite warning me of possible overages based on things they might discover after starting the repair came in exactly at their estimate. They were on-time, finished in the time estimated, were very clean and professional. I recommended them to several other folks who came by and asked since seeing them on my roof."

"I was looking into replacing my 20+ yrs tile roof to the Tesla solar roof but after months of waiting (I pre-ordered the solar roof and it was stuck at the design phase), Tesla told me that they no longer serve my area and refunded me the money. As I was looking for an alternative, I came across GAF's solar shingles and I was very interested in them. Guardian Roofs is GAF's certified installer in SoCal area. Larry from Guardian Roofs reached out to me within a day after I filled out the "Request for a Quote" form on GAF's website. Told me about their company and we chatted about my needs for the new roof and solar system. Within the next few days, he sent me a proposal, explained every single detail to me carefully and patiently answered all of my questions and concerns. He truly enjoy working with Larry because he would find out the answers for any questions he wasn't able to answer on the call and actually called me back and explained them to me thoroughly. I called/emailed six roofing companies/contractors, only four responded within the first week with a quote. The quote from Guardian Roofs was the second lowest (cheaper than Tesla's solar roof). The other three quotes were traditional solar panels and reroof using the existing tiles. I quickly decided to go Guardian Roof's quote not only it's much cheaper than Tesla's solar roof, but their panels also looked much nicer than the traditional ones. My only concern was that without the space between the rack and roof, how would the heat generated by the panels being released? I asked Larry this question and he explained to me but I didn't quite understand, so I asked the owner, Justin, the same question during the installation and he explained to me by showing me the actual products. Turned out the combination of the underlaying sheet, GAF's Timberline Shingles and the actual panels were playing a big part in handling the heat. The installation took a week to complete. I'm very pleased that the owner himself actually came out a couple of days and climbed on the roof to make sure everything was done correctly. He was also there to answer all of my questions about the job. Additionally, GAF sent a technician from the San Jose headquarter to oversee the installation of the panels. Not the mention William (the lead installer from Guardian Roofs) and his crew did a great job cleaning up the area after the job was completed."

"I called and spoke to Lonnie. He came out and showed up on time, asked a few questions, and went up onto the roof. He initially did not see any particularly horrible spots on the roof, but saw the interior water stains on the ceiling. He decided that he would patch/coat the general area for FREE, and then I should let him know if it works, because the issue could be minor...or possibly old. How nice is that? Wonderful customer service. Then, he went up to do the work and did find one spot that appeared to be "possibly" bad with a tear, and patched/coated it...and still did not want a payment because he wanted to make sure it worked first. It may be a month before it rains again in Palm Springs, but I will be using Elite roofing for repairs or replacement if one is needed in the future. It was the best and nicest service I've received in a very long time. He seemed to really care about doing a good job for me."

I recently had a ventilation fan installed in my bathroom. Once the wiring and fan were in place, Joe came by to install a TPO vent. I was greeted by Chris and  he helped me set up a appointment for a inspector to come out and check out my leaks.  <br /> We had 3 separate leaks, one of which was unsuccessfully attempted to be repaired by another roofer in the past.  <br /> Peter came out and identified the 3 leaks right away and gave me a estimate on the spot. "We couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire Halo Roofing. We got estimates from 3 other roofing companies and while Ron wasn’t the cheapest estimate and not the expensive one either, it was by far the most professional and fair from all the rest. What started as a small analysis into the condition of our roof as we knew we have a leak. This turned into a large roofing work by repairing about 1/2 of the roof frame. It’s never fun to get an estimate on a project only to tear off the current roof and to see the roof totally rotted and not doing what it should do....BUT Ron walked us through all the issues that were wrong and worked out with us on some options to do things the right way while keeping all the costs fair and low. These things were absolutely noticeable at first and without removing the existing roof. The crew was very friendly, polite, and respectful of our house. "We have had 4 roof repairs in the past 2 years. They were by far the best roofers. We have had 3 roofers out and they were the best so we have had them out twice. We have some kind of leak. It never rains here so you get a roof repair done and it doesn't rain for a year or two so you don't know if it is fixed or not. At any rate we had major rains here, and suddenly there was water coming in under the flooring around the fire place and the door. It has ruined the floor. We didn't know exactly where the water was coming in from. It was the chimney sweep who identified what he thought was some of the issues. When LA Rocque came out they advised on some things that we think might resolve the problem and we did re roofing all around the chimney, so we will see. I am pretty confident that they were both trouble shooters trying to figure out the problem and where they leak was coming from. They say they come at a certain time. They were actually a half of an hour early. They are clean, they pick up after themselves. You can just see the work, it is very very good. It was exactly what they quoted."

"First, the pros: <br /> 1.  The workmanship on the roof itself was very good.  We have had several significant rainfalls and no issue with leakage. <br /> 2.  The overall cost was competitive, and in fact slightly lower than other bids received. <br /> 3.  The company was willing to work with us on an installment plan that made it easier for us to pay for the new roof. <br /> There were, however, several issues we had with Octagon: <br /> 1. The project took longer than anticipated (about 3 weeks in total).  Some of this was due to extreme heat during the first stages of the project, but even after accounting for these days it still took about a week longer than anticipated.  It took numerous phone calls with the owner to finally get a larger crew on site to finish the work in a timely manner. <br /> 2. Overall, the owner was not very communicative during the project.  It took a lot of proactive phone calls to get updates on the schedule, additional costs, etc.  The owner rarely visited the work site, instead relying on a foreman. <br /> 3.  We had an issue with fascia boards that were installed poorly and not painted to match the white trim of the house.  Ultimately the owner agreed to fix the boards and paint them, but only after repeated calls and us withholding final payment. <br />"
