Royal Roofing and Siding went over the roof with us and pointed out some worn shingles, flashing that needed attention, and a section of the flat roof that was beginning to show its age. We also had some siding that needed to be addressed. They were organized about separating what actually needed attention from things that could wait, which made it much easier to decide how to proceed. The crew worked through the different repairs carefully and kept us updated as things moved along. "Very happy with the quality, timing and price. Good communication as well. The old roof had to be removed from both the main house and detached garage. The house had multiple layers of shingles that needed to come off and the garage also had the original cedar shingles in addition to the many layers of asphalt shingles. It was very messy getting the old roof off but the crew was really good about cleaning up. At the end of the first day the yard was a clean as it was before the work started. The entire job took only two days and the crew was able to start work the same week I signed the contract. Because less plywood was used than was quoted, the final price was even a few bucks less than the contracted price I agreed to. So overall I am very happy. Was a really smooth and easy project compared to past home projects."
