"I was lucky enough to find Joe on Angie's list. Joe replaced the ceiling in my hallway that was damaged when a repair technician slipped off the board in the attic putting his foot through. When I first spoke with him he was booked out a few weeks, but knowing I really wanted to get it repaired quickly he contacted me when he had an unexpected short opening and arrived early the next morning. Joe made my entry better than it was, wishing it had always looked that way and then completing the job in one day. Boom! Done! He definitely has an eye for detail and made sure we could replace the light if we chose without leaving evidence of the fixture there now. Everything was clean while he worked (blocking entries into adjoining rooms for dust) and when he left, it was as if he was never there. That's how it should be, but hasn't been with other work we've had done by others. I highly recommend Joe if you want it done right. I may have been able to find someone to do it for less, but the last time I went that direction I ended up going back in after they left to make it right as well as a big clean up job. "Exactly as planned without a single hitch. A clip had somehow become flipped up during installation resulting in a very small but immediately noticable leak. I called Eric Payne and the crew showed up the next day to implement a complete repair. Additionally, and I think most telling of their attention to detail and customer focus is this; During the normal course of a standard roof replacement, it was discovered that there was major wood decay and rot that caused extensive mold and other visible/structural damage. The THR crew never skipped a beat. They brought in additional supplies and effected a complete repair."

"When originally purchased, we were informed that they were booked up through the end of August.  Jeff called and he actually had a cancelation and was able to complete the job on very short notice (on both ends).  He arrived on time with two employees and they got right to work.  On his initial assessment, he informed us that the drywall repair was not normal and a little more work involved and we would be charged an additional $40; we agreed and they proceeded with the job.  Jeff is very professional and knowledgeable.  The bathroom that Jeff completed himself (a large Jack and Jill) was completed without flaws.  There were a few minor flaws in the other two bathrooms as well as the "clean up" was not to our satisfaction; lots of drywall debris and dust.  Jeff quickly responded and came back out on a second visit and completed the job to our satisfaction.  We will definitely be considering him for some popcorn removal and additional interior painting.

"A.J. Wells' people and their subcontractors are consummate professionals. Not only did they put in a superb roof but they rectified any issues that came up during the process of installing our roof. For example, the work crew damaged a spigot and fixed it the same day. They somehow damaged the lock on the fence gate and fixed that. They also affected a screw at the bottom of the gate that helped balance the way the gate closed and fixed that too. Debris from the roof knocked out the air conditioner. For three days. we were without the air conditioner until our warranty company could send someone to fix it. A.J. Wells has reimbursed us for the cost of fixing the air conditioner when we presented them with a receipt. There is a screen for our second-floor bathroom that was cut and they will replace that soon. Things happen that are not foreseen. It is good when you have a company that will correct those things. AJ Wells subcontractors were also excellent. They refinished our stucco and painted. The Gutters were replaced as well. AJ Wells does superior work."
